Pinkalicious: Fairy House (I Can Read Level 1)

We received our pre-order copy of Pinkalicious: Fairy House yesterday and it is already a big hit. It is a very happy story that combines two of my 5 year old's favorite things, Pinkalicious and Fairies. It is a Level 1 "I Can Read!" book that was an easy and confident read for my kindergartner with a few challenging words to improve reading skill. The best part about the story was that it was very positive throughout. Some of the Pinkalicious books have had some negativity to them where there was a dislike for pink from some mean girl types that Pinkalicous ran into that didn't really make for a fun read. Not in this story. It is all about having fun trying to catch a glimpse of some fairies who sprinkle fairy dust in the yard to make the flowers grow. Pinkalicious even gets help from her little brother Peter and they work so well together building a fairy house and play yard to entice the fairies to visit. The best part was when my daughter stopped reading in the middle of a page and said "That is a really pretty house!" about the house that the two kids were building for the fairies. It was a completely unprompted and out of the the blue comment which really is a testament to the fine artwork in the book. She really enjoyed the book, which is the most important part of all.Long story short, the book has a positive and fun story with a happy ending, great artwork and is a great reading book for young readers. One of the best Pinkalicious books so far. Five Stars. Highly Recommended.

Great book ! I highly recommend buying the entire set for a new reader girl's seem to love Pinkalicious this is a great book gift that keeps on giving. Bright pictures, cute stories, gets the child right into the story with nice big words so they can read along with you. Great prices !

Bought this for one of those giving tree presents during Christmas time. Not sure if the person liked it or not since it's one of those a kid makes a list of things they like and you can buy something that goes with their likes. In this case the child liked fairies so I got her this book for something for her parents to hopefully read to her at night or she could practice reading. This series was just starting to come out when I aged out of it and I used to love the purplicious book so hopefully this was as good as that one.

My granddaughter is acquainted with Pinkalicious from the public library, but she had not yet checked this one out.I am trying to help her build her own library at home.At seven she has learned to read, and is at that level where learning new words has taken off.What a delightful stage of reading for both her and me!The Pinkalicious books are perfect for this level of skill, with plenty of new words that add to your child's vocabulary and are easy to understand and use.The Fairy House book is particulary enjoyable for my granddaughter because gardens and fairies and tiny things are of great interest to her.Not only is the book entertaining, but it has inspired her to make her own little garden with found objects.You can't go wrong with the delightful Pinkalicious series for little girls who are just beginning to develop reading skills.

This is a very cute story. Engaging for our 5 year old. Some of the longer words were a challenge, but that is not a bad thing. Everyone needs to be challenged.

A must have book for any little girl that is a fan of Pinkalicious. This one inspired our little pink loving princess so much she had to create a fairy house outside in our backyard. Love this!!

I like to mix nonfiction and fiction books when I do fairies and what child doesn’t like Pinkalicious?

My daughter loves Pinkalicous and we have been adding her books to our library whenever we find them. We loved the fairy theme and have read the book many times.
