Diode LED DI-24V-SE-60W 24VDC SWITCHEX LED Driver & Dimmer in One 60W 120VAC Input

Works really well to control the LED strip lights we purchased on Amazon.

I do not have a way to know if it is a good or bad product because I only bought one first to find out. It happened to be a faulty switch. I bought the switch during a complete kitchen remodel a few months before I needed it so that I would have it when I needed it. This was well outside the very limited return window. For this reason, I would recommend never buy from Amazon unless you are going to use it immediately. Please do not listen to Amazon's advertisements about buying Christmas or Holiday gifts early, like in July when they start that kind of advertising, because you will have a terrible time when whatever you bought doesn't work. Please avoid the headache and buy from an actual store so you have some kind of recourse. Back to the Diode LED product, the manufacturer will require you to go through the store you bought it from to get any warranty started, and the mystery store will say it is a manufacturer's problem and you will not hear any more from them. Diode LED will say you have to use their products only which is bogus as long as you know anything about electricity or electronics. They try to make you buy extremely over priced LED light strings when you don't have to. I had a local distributor verify the switch is bad and in the process he told me that they get about 1 in 50 switches that are defective. That is a terrible quality percentage as far as consumer electronics are concerned. This product sounds like an easier, cleaner, and quicker solution to low voltage lighting and probably would be were it not for quality issues and painful Amazon problem resolution hoops you have to jump through. At this point at least, go the much less expensive route and buy a separate transformer for about 1/10th the price, buy local, and avoid the Amazon trap.

We use these for all new custom homes for under cabinet lighting! 24v and 60w are usable in most of are situations. Great product and cheaper than a lot of other stores for the same product!

I previously reviewed this it as good. Unfortunately after 4 months of using it. The switch does not turn on the lights. It’s to expensive to keep replacing them. Don’t buy.
