This is a very good brush. I like that it feels very similar to the Simpson "Chubby" in my hand. It produces great lather similar to Plissoft type synthetic brushes. Badger hair brushes are great, but I prefer synthetic brushes because I seem to be able to consistently build great lather quicker with them. With natural hair, i have to load longer and use quite a bit more soap. I break out the actual Chubby when i have a little more time, but for a typical shave, this brush is a great choice, and has found a regular spot in my rotation.
