Female to Male Ball Valve (Blue Handle)

I have purchased some China manufactured stainless steel valves from Amazon that consistently leak through the valve stem. I have since found that Beduan valves other components from this source are of reliable quality along with attractive fit & finish. I don't post many Amazon reviews but I believe Beduan has earned some positive recognition.

Bought these to place online before my air hose connections. That way, I can shut the line completely off to prevent constant pressure in the line. I had to modify the bracket plate on my compressor to allow the shut off handle to rotate properly. Other than that, the quality of these appears to be excellent and so far no leaks or other issues and I’m satisfied with the purchase. If you use these for a similar installation, I recommend place them gently into a vise (meaning don’t torque down too much) and thread them into each other before installing onto the compressor. That way, it’s easier to insure you have properly tightened them.

Used this to make a shutoff on an auxiliary air compressor tank. Works good, no leaks and easy rotation. All you need it a wrench and some Teflon tape to install it.

I've been using this ball valve for a few weeks now to make filter changes on my cold plunge easier (no holding up the hose), and it has proven to be a sturdy and reliable addition to my setup. The stainless steel construction feels solid and durable. Installation was straightforward. The valve’s aluminum handle is easy to grip and operate, which makes controlling the flow a breeze. I've used it for various applications around my home, and it’s held up well under different conditions. One thing to note, though, is that it slightly reduces the flow. It's not quite full flow like some other ball valves I've used, which is something to keep in mind depending on your needs. For my purposes, it’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s worth mentioning if you require maximum flow efficiency. Also, the handle is not reversible like some other valves. Overall, I’m giving the ball valve 4 stars. It’s robust, easy to use, and reliable, but the reduced flow and non-reversible handle prevent it from being perfect. If you need a solid valve and can work with a tiny flow reduction, this one is a great choice.

It's an ok product, but does not have tapered threads like NPT. Leaked like crazy even on a connection with a gasket. Had to use a lot of PTFE tape
