RIDGID 40043 Micro CA-25 Hand-Held Inspection Camera with 4' Cable, Borescope, Red

I purchased this product to look under my kitchen cabinets for a snack that had been brought in by one of my grandchildren. The camera head was too big to fit underneath the cabinet. Fortunately, I was able to use it in the sink area where the drain was as the hole has a larger opening. This product came with a hard shell carrying case, batteries, and a magnet to pick up metal items that may have dropped. I would recommend this product.

Good inspection camera, bright light for dark spaces, images are clear and you see the problem right way. Perfect for plumbing, automotive, electrician, easy to reach and high quality flexible cord, easy adjustment and move for inspection. God protection for head camera and clear glass easy to use.

Best tool purchase I've made in a long while. I'm very please with this scope. I've used the ones that wirelessly connect to your phone. Hands down those are junk compared to this guy. The focus is great, you can see throughout the cavity your peering into. The other one I used would only focus within 5-8 inchs. What good is that if you need to look into a wall or down a wire run. The LED lights on the camera head are bright enough to blind you. It comes with a nice case and head attachments, mirror, hook and magnet. I bought this for boat repairs and it's paid for itself in one use. The only strike against it is the LCD screen viewing angle isn't great, you have to be looking dead on. This can be tough when you are trying to guide the camera with two hands inside the cavity you're searching. If you're kicking around which unit to purchase, between the wireless phone el cheapo or this one, there's no competition. This one takes the prize. Spend the extra couple of bucks and you'll have a tool that you'll want to keep at hand all the time.

We are construction managing a job in a building with a secure file room. we had to inspect a return air shaft behind a wall with out making a dusty mess. The PM on the job wanted to take down a 3' square section of the wall for the inspection. This camera eliminated the need. All we did was drill a 1" hole through the sheet rock and got all the info we needed for our inspection. With this tool we saved time, money, and the problem of a huge mess. This camera was a big hit the 1st day on the job.

Good tool for handyman. Camera works pretty good. Good name brand.

This scope works well for most short distance inspections. I'm using it to see hidden areas in tractors.

Be advised that the battery compartment is so tight, you'll likely have trouble using NiMH batteries. You might get them in, but extracting them would be another story. Also, be sure you can live with the somewhat large camera head diameter. Nice case and probably a helpful tool, for many. In the time I had it, I learned it's manufacture was outsourced to China and I believe a 4' version (1' longer) is slated to upgrade this unit in the near future. As you might expect at this price point, the head/cable are non-detachable/non-swappable. I did return mine to Amazon.

Haven't used it but within the house picture quality is very good. I purchased one before in the cord would tangle within the first four feet this is very rigid and will be able to be pushed into the pipe like it's supposed to

This is one of those things that once you have it, you often wonder how you ever did without it. Looking round corners, above ceilings and below floors, behind cabinets, the list goes on. So handy, well worth it, solid build quality and a decent case.
