I actually bought this product for a hike up Ben Nevis. Very pleased with it. The hat itself had good ventilation so I didn't feel it was trapping body heat. It also had a wide brim to keep the sun off effectively. I particularly liked the neck flap as it totally protected my neck for a whole day's walk without the need for any sunblock to be applied. The hat is very light so you hardly notice you are wearing it. The neck strap is useful for keeping the hat on in windy conditions. It appears well-made and I would definitely recommend it.

Working outside in the recent blazing sun necessitated protective headwear to prevent scalp sunburn. This hat fitted the bill perfectly, keeping the sun at bay, not only on my head but off the back of my neck also due to the attached flap at the back. The flap can be rolled up and stored out of sight when not required but cant be detached, which I consider a bonus as it can't be lost! It is lightweight, comfortable to wear, and ventilated, additionally is showerproof. Im going to purchase another to take on holiday with me as it will be very handy I'm sure. Good quality and good value. I recommend this hat.

Excellent product come rain or shine. The first cap I ve ever had that actually fits and doesn't fly away in the wind. Neatly covers my Amygdela (the fear centre of the brain) therefore keeping me feeling safe and sound. Great product speedily and professionally delivered. Well done team!! This is a great hat, good protection from the sun with the rear flap and wide brim. The ventilation also keeps the head cool on a warm day. No issues with quality of fabric.

Not for appearance but very good and practice for extreme heat air show attended by husband over a week. Fold down so good for space.

Good for working outside in the sun, I found the circle around the hat was slightly large on me, still good value for money!

Aus meiner Sicht unzureichender Sonnenschutz: oben auf dem Hut ist das Material so dünn, dass man durchsehen kann/ die Sonne durchkommt. Durch das meshnetz, welches auf Stirnhöhe rundherum verläuft, kommt die Sonne durch (man hat förmlich das Muster auf der Haut, wenn man die Hand unter den Hut hält). Alles andere macht funktional einen guten Eindruck, aber nur 1-Stern, weil der Hut als Outdoor-Sonnenhut mit LSF50+ angepriesen wird.
