I shuddered the first time I tried Farmhouse Culture Gut Shot, but something about it brought me back. I now take shots twice daily and wouldn't miss them for anything! I can tell the difference they make!

This is a good product at a reasonable price when bought in a case of 6 bottles, which is $9.63 per bottle, including tax. However, this is not available at this time. The price for one bottle is $27+ now and is way too expensive.

Instead of taking a capsule or pill of probiotics, you can take a shot or more to address digestive issues. Since Cabbage Juice is the main ingredient, it's also serves as a preventative aid against colon cancer. I try to take all different flavors of Farmhouse Culture Gut Shots on a rotation basis in order to ensure regularity.

It has to be good for you because it tastes terrible. I diluted it in water.

I have grown to like the taste of this stuff, although when you pour a shot, it smells like you cut a fart. I'll take several shots a day, along with a cup of Kefir, and some Greek yogurt. I try to keep my gut flora populated and diverse. I eat insane amounts of fiber, and I am EXTREMELY regular. I also eat high protein with a lot of dairy, eggs, and meat. Despite the high protein and fiber, my farts don't stink. And I fart a LOT. And LOUD. I credit my gut flora with the low odor, but I'm not a scientist. This is just my anecdotal experience.

This is absolutely not the same as the original product which was beneficial. The new version has no sediment on the bottom, the color is not the deep purplish red and is watery. They have added distilled vinegar and fruit and vegetable juices to it among other things. If anything, this product is now harmful to your health as distilled vinegar is bad for your joints and skin, and if you have gastritis or intestinal issues then woe be unto you as you will get even more inflamed.
