SCHLAGE F10GEO609ADD Addison Collection Georgian Passage Knob, Antique Brass

Perhaps I'm uneducated on the parlance of door-knob technology, but I was expecting to receive a full knob (ie. a handle for each side of the door) rather than just one handle and no mechanism. For buyers looking for half a door-knob assembly, this one was quite nice. For everyone else, do be cautious of this product.

First off, I build luxury homes. I have seen it all when it comes to quality knobs for doors. Although there are better high-end knobs these for your typical home are going to be far beyond what you will need. They are solid and installation is extremely easy thanks to self-aligning tabs that keep you from trying to line up the screws with their holes. They look amazing and really helped me sell the custom home I just finished. Everyone that looked at the house commented on them, that's pretty darn cool.

These are 5 star because they are exactly what what they say they are, but all of these reviews talking about how fancy and solid they feel....Bru, that's some b.s. They are the same as the Amazon basics door handle with a different back plate. They don't feel like anything special and the knobs are kind of small.They are fine. They do their job.That's it.I paid $20 for these on a flash sale which is a fair price. The normal price looks to be $25.

I'm a bit fan of these doorknobs. They look nice but more importantly they feel very STURDY. There's substance to them, but they're still comfortable to turn and so forth. I use the passage ones for hallways/pantries, entry for exterior doors, privacy knob for bedrooms, and privacy lever ones for bathrooms (the slightly different look helps out when guests are over. Just a personal aesthetic choice).Just a note on the type that can lock with a key--they don't auto unlock when you open it like most other doorknobs do. This is good for security but not great for homeowner convenience. Take care to check the knobs when you go and make sure you don't accidentally lock yourself out (like I have) D:

This is such a beautiful knob. I had a little trouble getting the top screw in. It took some jiggling and unscrewing and rescrewing to get the screw all the way in. It was hard getting it to go in straight because I couldn’t get the screwdriver to get at it straight. I went in at an angle and I accidentally scratched off some of the paint on the knob where the screwdriver touch it. I’m not sure if there was an easier way to screw it in. Maybe like a tool that is meant for angles? Overall, it was an incredible buy and I would like to get this knob for bedroom door if I had the funds.

The media could not be loaded.  Just a great product! They are so pretty! You have two options to use the knobs. Come with keys to open the door if locked out. So simple to unlock. I used them in my trailer to add a bit of flair. I would so buy them again even though it’s a bit pricey it’s worth it!

I can't say enough positive things about Schlage products. I have slowly changed all of my locksets and knobs over to Schlage over the years and I'm extremely happy with them. The quality is second to none, IMHO. You can feel the robustness and smooth operation right out of the box. They're heavy duty, yet very smooth. They just feel solid. They are as easy to install as any other similar product I've installed over the years (and I'm old). The instructions are actually written in English and are easy to follow!! =D

Love how this gave my bedroom door some flare. I’ve been slowly updating each door in the house from an old hollow wood with a brass handle to this look. Love it. I have had compliments every time I’ve had guests over that remember the old look.

very good dummy knobs. One star off because the knobs we replaced screwed on from the back, through the door, and while this would be slightly more difficult install, it would hide the screws AND be stronger than just two screws in a ply door. Still, the knobs are great, and they match the egg-shaped knobs we bought as passage-ways. btw the egg shape is fantastic, second house we swapped all knobs out because the egg-shaped are easy to turn, no slippage, easier with hand pain.

I've installed a lot of door knobs (even other Schlage ones) and this is easily the worst one ever. It feels very light (cheap) and the handle doesn't come off, so it's very hard to install. In fact I could only get one screw in, so that hopefully will hold it. If I didn't need this replacement right away I would return it. Not what I've come to expect from Schlage

I ordered a lot of these so found out that this is the ordered colour - it's far from brass anything. Really disappointed in the colour but hesitant to order the other brass as one review picture looked like 90's builder grade "gold". I absolutely love the style so I'm keeping them but it's 100% not what I was looking for

Plusieurs personne doivent ce tromper dans l'achat de cette poigné. L'annonce manque de clarté. C'est littéralement un seul côté de la porte ! Je pensais que je fessais une bonne affaire, mais j'en ai besoin pour une porte, avec 2 côtés, donc j'avais besoin d'un ensemble. Cela est de ma faute et je lui ai trouvé une porte de garde robe, et cela fait très bien.
