My husband was born and raised in Dublin. The Donnelly Breakfast Sausages are a special treat for him and takes him "back home". I order them for his birthday and he is always looking for them as a special treat. He shares some of them with his golf buddies and now they look forward to them too. I lived in England for 26 years cumulatively and I know what a proper banger looks, smells and tastes like. Product review: Taste & texture is spot on! A real banger! I've tried many bangers in America which claimed to be "authentic" or "genuine" or "Irish style." ALL were epic fails and a marketing con! These bangers are the real deal! My only criticism, but easily forgiven, is the size, they are chipolata sized. Value review: $80 for bangers, you get 70 of them; works out to be $1.28 per banger. A good deal indeed! Packaging/shipping review: Arrived promptly and the packaging was outstanding! I live in CA and they were shipped from NY and the ice gel packs were STILL frozen! Final statement: For any ex-pat Brits living in America now and want a real banger, this is the best you can get.

Written by an Irish person. These sausages brought me right back to Ireland again. Authentic taste. I know they are made for an American audience, hence the link type look but you can always eat two or three. I’m going to see if they sell the thicker sausages I’m used to. But I’d happily buy these again and again.
