Global VisionEyewear Cruising Safety Glasses with Clear Lenses

I purchased these to have side protection for an outdoor firearms training class. I picked up these and a pair of clear ones in case weather conditions got dark. Both pairs of safety glasses worked marvelously! Conditions during class were dusty and windy. The side shields protected my eyes from dust getting in, and were all-day comfortable.I wear prescription eyeglasses with transitions lenses, which obviate the need to wear sunglasses outdoors, but riding in a car is a different thing altogether. The window glass on most automobiles block UV rays, which trigger the darkening effect on transitions lenses. The result is driving in the sun is a real pain with my prescription glasses since I didn't have any sunglasses that could fit over my existing glasses... until I got these! Now I can drive in comfort in sunny conditions, and the side windows allow enough peripheral view to make over-the-shoulder lane checks manageable.Pros:Fit over glasses as advertised, easy on, easy off, but they stay put.Side windows offer peripheral vision, especially handy when wearing these while driving.They still retain the look of sunglasses, and don't look like huge safety goggles.These are quite inexpensive compared to other fit-over-glasses safety lensesCons:None that I can think of!Bottomline: Would buy again and probably will to keep a pair handy at all times!

I have been using a pair of these for a year and just bought 2 more, one for my wife, and one dedicated to a workshop area. The saftey glasses I get at a big box store or included with a tool scratch permanently after just a few times of use when exposed to any dust aka drywall dust, etc. They also fit poorly and are very poorly constructed. Not these, they lenses are much better quality and withstand far more abuse while providing very clear vision, the frames are custom tailored fitting perfectly over my glasses as you know all the measurements, the frames are high quality for this kind of product, and they look much better on you. I disagree with another reviewer is referring to when saying the manufacturer changed materials or that they won't win a style award. They are safety glasses and for style, they are the best I have owned. For materials, I see no change in materials from the one I purchased 1 year ago versus today. These are an amazing bargain at the price they are sold and shipped for here. When you see the quality and fit, you will realize how much markup there is when you buy far inferior products elsewhere and yet can get this kind of product shipped to you for just a few dollars.

I ordered these for bike riding to fit over and protect my expensive prescription glasses. These shades are a little larger than I was hoping for, but not too bad. plenty of extra room. My glasses are about 5" wide and 1.25" tall. The inside dimensions of the Escort shades are about 5.75" by 1.5".I bought them to have eye protection when riding after dark. They replace the economy lab-type-fits-over-RX safety glasses  MSA Safety Works 817691 Over Economical Safety Glasses, Clear that work well, but look even geekier than these. The Escort shades actually look kind of cool in a Bono from U2/hipster kind of way with the big black frames and bright yellow lenses.While they were not primarily designed to keep the wind out of your eyes, that is the primary reason I bought them. for that task they score a 3 out of 5. In fact I resorted to mod-ing them slightly, sanding off a bit of the frame where it contacts the forehead/eyebrow area in order to fit them closer to my face. The mod seemed to work well on the commute home yesterday. I rode in to work with them this morning, and they did pretty well in 32F temperature, until I got into a pea soup type fog, but nothing i can think of outside of defrosters and wipers built into a pair of glasses would have done better.An unexpected benefit of the mod: My 14 year old daughter, who is very sensitive to her parents going out of the house "looking weird," said that they "look cool now that you did that thing to them." I guess having them sit a couple millimeters closer to the face helps take away some of the geek factor of "fits over prescription" sunglasses.UPDATE: After wearing these for several days, I downgraded the rating to four stars, due to a lack of comfort in the design of the nose-bridge part. The part that contacts your nose has a squarish edge that digs into, rather than sits on your nose. After further modification with a round file to smooth this portion, I would give these a five, especially at this price, but not as shipped.

I wear prescription glasses and always feel eyestrain during night driving from headlight glare. Looking for a solution, I saw infomercials about yellow tinted glasses that are supposed to help with that. Many reviews of other glasses, esp. from the TV, said that they don't work as advertised, but I saw good reviews for these and found them to be great. On overcast days, they dramatically eliminate haze and improve contrast (I found that in the first few minutes, everything looks yellow, but my eyes quickly adjust to see and recognize distinct colors). At night, headlights are still bright but not so glaring. The construction is solid with firm fitted lenses and hinges - no distortion at all on the lenses like other drugstore wear-over-prescription sunglasses. They fit very comfortably over my regular glasses and block out light leaks from side and above. So glad to have these in the car!

No tengo moto y el motivo de compra definitivamente debe ser poco común pero ahí les va:Elegí estos lentes porque tengo un montón de alergias y me ha sido imposible disfrutar en los últimos años caminar o escalar por los síntomas severos de asma, ronchas, migrañas, etc... PERO! Recientemente dije "NO me vencerán mis alergias, saldré a caminar otravez, encontraré la forma😤"Y pues estaba buscando unos lentes que no fueran goggles pero tampoco como los de bicicleta donde si te entra mucho aire y mis ojos empiezan a reaccionar y todo pero ESTOS LENTES SON LO MÁXIMO 💖Bueno, bonito y barato cubre del aire pero no al 100 como goggles, y me siento más tranquila con ellos afuera 🌻Mi hermana me dijo que parecen lentes de ciego 🤣 pero no me importa! Con estos lentes y mascarilla debo de poder caminar aunque sea un rato sin tener una reaccion severa ✨ muy contenta con mi compra 👌🏻

Love these glasses. They fit over my prescription eyewear comfortably and eliminate glare from headlights and street lights at night. They also work great in the rain or fog...day or night. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with night vision challenges.
