RIEDEL Extreme Pinot Noir Wine Glasses, Set of 4, Clear

Beautiful elegant glasses, make wine taste good and the table look amazing

Some reviews say these glasses are fragile. Ok so far for me. But, if you examine them side by side against the older version of this glass which was called the Vinum Extreme it is considerably lighter than in years past. The old version was ~248g per glass. Whereas the new version is ~185g per glass. They are the same size so my guess is that the glass composition has changed over the years. Does that make them more fragile? Not, for me. At least not for me so far.

These glasses are unfit for purpose. Each glass broke individually over a period of a month even though they were handled very carefully and washed (carefully!) by hand. I contacted Amazon who passed me on to Riedel as I was outside the one month Amazon returns period. I phoned Reidel - no reply - then sent them a message with a request for feedback and comment. Nothing !! I have received zero response from Riedel which I think is rude and pathetic. I have purchased many Reidel glasses over the years (which have been fine) but I will think twice now as I think that courtesy and customer service is important and just a response - whatever that was - to my comments and complaint would be the least that they could have done.

These glasses were not as good a quality as I had hoped for. Whilst the tops of the glasses were nice and thin. The stems are bulky and have strap ridges down each side. I almost wondered if they might be seconds? Hence the good price

I do like wine glasses and these are wonderful, slightly expensive, but very good quality.

These glasses are lovely… the crystal is a bit heavier / thicker than I expected but hopefully that means they would be more durable. However there is an obvious flaw/raised bubble in one of the glasses. I’d have expected better from Riedel.

My favorite wine glasses. It may just be me, but wine drinks better in these glasses, better than from any other glass. They’re perfect!

Love the large bowl of the pinot noir varietal glass. Stem is thick but still elegant, makes it more comfortable to chuck it in the dishwasher when needed. Not too worried about these breaking. Shape is great for nosing and aerating the wine in the glass. Great value from Riedel.

Were promptly delivered. These were for the Riedel Pinot Noir Extreme glassware. They are large. Wonderfully shaped also for other grape varietals.
