KiddeCOSAC Smoke and CO Alarms

I purchased this item on 11th of November on the 20th November it went off for no reason I removed the battery to reset it, then checked it with smoke and it did not work. Checked with another battery still no joy. I returned the item for replacement and they arrived today. Thanks to all

Hard to review how good these are as thank goodness I haven't had them activated for real. Simple to set up, decent duracell batteries included and a make I have purchased before. 10 year life but the manufacturers date stamp puts them at 2 years old already.

Items fine for normal use. I bought these to fit in a motorhome after reading a review and an answered question indicating that this combination was ideal. Unfortunately I have returned them because it clearly states in the smoke alarm User Manual that it is not suitable for use in recreational vehicles or boats.

First CO monitor failed after only a week or so, giving false alarms of CO gas being present. The pair were promptly replaced, without any quibble, and seem to be working fine.

Replacement for existing alarms. Had to change the baseplate for the smoke alarm as it screws the opposite way to the existing one. Co alarm fitted without further modifications.

I wanted the CO2 and Fire alarm for a motorhome. This dual pack is ideally suited as the units are compact. Service was as promised when I ordered.

Seem pretty good find out how good they work when I have gas carbon dioxide leak or a fire
