I would definitely recommend these skewers. They are perfect for skewering meat as they have a sharp tip, which makes loading them up really easy. They are very sturdy, unlike other skewers I have bought and are easy to clean.

Although lightweight and quite flexible (so they will sag if loaded with heavy items) they are absolutely perfect for smaller pieces of meat and vegetables, which is what I wanted them for. The flat profile helps to prevent the contents spinning around, ensuring they they can be turned effectively during cooking. The tips are very sharp, making loading the ingredients onto them easy. I don't know why some customers thought that being sharp was a negative point (no pun intended) because surely they are supposed to be? It's like complaining that a sewing needle is sharp!

Really good the flat section means the food does not rotate on the skewers making it easier to bbq. Good length and cool handle.

Ordered these recently, they arrived today. They look nice and sturdy, like food skewers. The only problem is that the tips are REDICULOUSLY sharp, to the point (no pun intended) where I don't think they are safe to use, there is a real risk of piercing your hand while skewing meat. I am talking as sharp as the point on a scalpol or Stanley blade. I think i will dull the tip a wee bit before using them as right now they are dangerous.

These are great for BBQs. I used them for tandoori chicken kebab and the pieces of chicken stayed in place perfectlyThere's loads of room to add whatever else you might like too. They went in the dishwasher for cleaning so that couldn't be easier. They are Hella pointy sharp tho so you gotta add food on carefully. The hook allows for a swinging presentation of you have the right kit.The metal cools quickly. It's not thin, but it's not high quality which is reflected by the fair price.

I needed some flat skewers for the bbq - round bamboo ones end up allowing the meat / veg to spin and cook unevenly.These work fine, and are long enough to fit enough food for one person. There are handles, but these are metal you need gloves to pick them up when hot. Because they are flat, the food can be turned easily. The points are VERY sharp, and the supplied plastic covers don't stay on, and are easily lost. Some care is needed when threading the food on.

They work - only bad thing to say is the twisted bit at the bottom could be a bit shorter as it reduces the useable length by a good bit but other than that happy with these.
