A TERRIFIC LITTLE BRUSH FOR THE PRICE - SUPER SOFT BRISTLES
I had bought two hair brushes here on Amazon at the same time for about the same price. They are about the same size and had the same features (wood base and handle and boar hair bristles). The Titan's bristles were way too hard for anything but the thickest hair and the wood base and handle felt flimsy. I sent it back. This brush, however, is exactly as described. The wood base and handle felt heftier than the Titan and the bristles are super soft. If you are looking for super soft bristles, this brush is for you. if you need harder bristles, this would not be for you. The brush is compact in size, making it perfect for travel while at the same time large enough to fit comfortably into the hands of a grown man (yours truly). It feels sturdy and like it will last - unlike much more expensive plastic brushes. So far- very happy with it and for the price, felt I could not go wrong.

Great brush used to be better
This brush is great for my hair. They one downside is I repurchased it and this time due to shrinkflation it has less bristles then the old one, and it’s thinner so doesn’t brush hairs well.

Very soft bristles
I was impressed that the very, very soft bristles n this brush are able to move my hair. The brush looks attractive, and is of light, wood construction.

Satisfactory
This brush is made from high-quality wood, and the bristles are of medium hardness. I personally prefer horsehair over synthetic materials, and this one doesn’t disappoint. I’ve had another just like it for years, and it’s been fantastic. I wouldn’t trade it for any other brush!—Koorosh

Low quality brush, but it does add some shine.
I wasn't expecting much from this brush after looking at the product pictures and judging by the low price tag.I have bought cheap SOFT boar bristle brushes in the past and usually end up throwing or giving them away due to poor durability or ineffectiveness of the soft bristles. It is difficult to find a decent soft boar bristle brush. As expected, the bristles on this brush were splayed apart at cockeyed angles and not densely set, as well as being poorly trimmed. The lengths of the bristle hairs are widely varied from being to very short (about half the length of the bristle cluster) to overly long (sticking out about 1/2 inch beyond the bristle cluster). For a "new" unused brush, the poor bristle trim and formation shows the poor quality of this brush- but I wasn't expecting much.According to the markings on the brush itself, the bristles are "100% Pure Bristle China". While MOST of the bristles do appear to be natural hair, I cannot attest to the validity of the "boar bristle" claims made in the listing. I do not believe the 100% natural claim due to close examination of the bristles which feel and look plasticine (probably acrylic), as well as the moderate amount of static that comes from using this brush. This brush does shed quite a lot of bristles, more so than I would expect even from a cheap brush of this sort. After three short uses (about a minute each of long strokes) it is still shedding bristles (20 or 30 or so) and doesn't seem to be abating. The finish on the wood of the brush appears to be a semigloss wood stain. The wood itself is lightweight and has an almost hollow sound when tapped, so I don't believe it is hardwood. The handle of the brush has a nice curve to it which fits comfortably in my hand (I'm a female with average size hands) but I wouldn't expect it to be very comfortable for a man or a larger handed person. Also, due to the quality of wood and light finish on the brush, I wouldn't advise prolonged use of it in wet conditions. The stiffness of the bristles is varied, and has a bit of a rough touch to the skin similar to a soft body brush which hasn't been broken in yet, but it doesn't irritate the scalp. This is an accurately labeled "Soft" brush, more rigid than a child's brush (which are usually "very soft"), but still gentle. As far as how well the brush performs, it is partially effective for the purpose I bought it for (to smooth flyaway hairs and add shine)- it does add a nice shine. Due to the slight static problem, and poorly assembled bristles it doesn't do a good job of smoothing. However, it might be effective enough for someone who uses oil or pomade while styling, but with the bristle loss of the brush, I would be a bit hesitant. The brush also seems to do a fair job of removing sloughed off hairs which my comb missed, without pulling or tangling.Overall, this brush is just okay, adds a bit of shine to my hair, but it isn't the finishing touch brush I was looking for.
