I received the Timken Hub, and it is marked "Timken" on the brake disk flange; it is different from the NTN hub in that the lug bolts have the steel grade stamped on them, the centering hub for the brake disk lacks the black paint, and the centering hub for the knuckle has a stress relief groove that is different from the NTN's.It is somewhat disconcerting that the Timken box reads "Distributed by the Timken Company. Timken Service Parts are carefully chosen from select manufacturers. Keep dry and clean". This seems to be an indication that Timken does not manufacture their own products anymore.Oh well, time will tell if it this hub stands to Timken's reputation.Wonder why the Amazon Listing shows the picture of a crappy NTN wheel bearing hub. I say crappy after having replaced 4 defective NTN bearing hubs in a car with 88k miles. Absurd.
