Fila Skele-Toes EZ Slide Drainage Sandal (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

My tot is averse to wearing shoes and I consider myself to be pretty liberal in letting her barefoot most activities. There are certain times though that call for shoes! I personally wear toe shoes as my lifestyle and projected my personal preference to be able to use my toes! I am so thankful I bought these toe shoes for her because she has insisted on wearing them all day since she's had them!! I sized up from her usual 9 to 10 based on reviews and found that she probably would have been fine in size 9. I appreciate that she's happy with the fit (wearing toe socks) and will theoretically be able to keep them longer with room to grow if they endure her hard play! If you prefer to have a "right" fit I'd say go for your normal size. We tried the other model of skeletoes (bay runners) and they didn't work out I think for several reasons. I suggest opting for this ez slide model over those! I also suggest getting toe socks because it seems to make the world of difference in being able to help the kids slide their respective toes into the appropriate slot. This model of skeletoes is great because they have pull tabs on the front and back! I hope this review helps anyone who's considering the risk of buying toe shoes for a little one.

I had purchased a pair of skeletoes when they first came out and I was in love with them. They were the best outdoor shoe I had, I took them to the river, the beach, camping and hiking. I wear a size 4 in kids and have had my pair for some years now, it was time for a new pair. I ordered them and the 4 was waaaay to small and the general design was off in itself. The rubber sole is only the bottom and doesn’t fully extend to the toes. If you look the material all around is roughly half an inch over the bottom which is just weird craftsmanship and honestly made it feel uncomfortable. I did buy them in another size thinking the fit was the issue, however now that these fit perfect the whole shoe is still off. I just think it was a poor upgraded design or this particular model is poorly made. Definitely keeping an eye out for them in my size in one of the other skeletoe varieties because these ones are a big fail.

If your kid loved the Vibram Five Fingers and laments the fact that they're no longer manufactured, [or thinks yours are the coolest looking thing ever and wants to try them] these are the perfect choice. With the smallest two toes sharing space, these are just that little bit easier to get on and off. They're fun, fast, and flexible, just like the adult shoes and so far are holding up great under the wear and tear that a kid puts them through.

I ordered these SkeleToes for my 7 year old grandson. They are a Christmas present and I have not given them to him yet. I hope they fit, but if they do not, I will contact you after Christmas and try to order a bigger size. He tried a 3 1/2 on in the store and they were too small. His mom told me to get him a size 4. I sure hope they fit! He will be real disappointed if he opens them on Christmas morning and they are too small. Wish me good luck!!!!

She wanted shoes like mommy and Vibrams didn't make them...I was so happy to find these and having the 2 small toes linked together allows her to put them on much easier than I when I was first learning how to put on my 5 toe shoes.I will be getting her a second pair!

Love these shoes!... they fit snug, which I truly like!... this is the 4 pair for me!
