HMC Wheeled Gasoline Caddy - 30-Gallon, Polyurethane Hose, Bi-Directional Pump, Red, Model GC-30R

This caddy is AWESOME! I scoured Amazon to find one of these units and read all the reviews of the cheaper Chinese made junk and promptly shied away from them ( The one where the guy said the tires smelled like they were made of cat sh*t was the best ) I am SO glad I chiseled the extra dough out of my wallet to buy this one! The first thing you see when you open the box is a note saying " Made in America, By Americans" I love that, I was sold right there and hadn't even used it yet. The pump works very well (and doesn't leak like the "other" ones) The paint job looks like a Corvette! The hose is very robust. The only thing I changed, was I added a 3/4" street 90 and 45 to the top of the pump and screwed the hose into the 45, so the hose falls away nicely without coming straight up off the pump, then bending 90 degrees back downward. The tires are nice and solid, as is the axle. I haven't found one thing wrong with it so far, except the wait time to get it from the manufacturer, but as you know... "good things come to those who wait" And I'm glad I did!

Only able to place 26 gallons of fuel, in this 30 gallon HMC Gasoline Caddy. Possibly built to wrong specs? Ordered and payed for 30 gallon tank

This was a good system for two years. This morning, while filling up my car that only runs one this one type of fuel, the crank was not turning smoothly. After about a gallon of fuel going in, the crank made a sound and started free spinning. The pump is now useless and I don't know what to do with it or the 29 gallons sitting in the tank.Help?

Bought this after I had to return a Chinese made caddy that arrived with fittings smashed. Build quality is excellent, very sturdy. My only (minor) complaints are: instructions are in micro tiny print with blurry poor photos y (this from a person with 20/20 vision), the decal sheet was torn almost in half in two places right through letters, making it impossible to apply, and there was a mysterious extra screw and nut in the box that were not present in the instructions.

Very well built of course ( made in USA) no leaks from pump, hose etc.. even when hauling it back home from station with 30 gallons in it. It is pricy but worth every penny. First and last caddy I’ll ever own.

The price difference between this and the cheaper caddies is well worth the money. This thing is built well. The hose should be longer but that a minor gripe. It's the best one on Amazon by far.

Well constructed, made in the USA. The tank gauge did not show full when the tank was full but after I loosened it and re tightened, it registered at the top as full. Pumped 15 gallons of fuel into my boat' quickly wile on the trailer.

By the time you fix up a cheapo version of this caddy with a pump that doesn't leak, repair the fittings and replace the hose you might as well have spent the money on this one instead. No buyers remorse or repairs needed with this model. It just works!
