I bought a similar dress 5 years ago for my graduation and it was the best choice ever, I bought it again this time and its still the best choice...its very flattering, bring our the shape, and very comfortable...I will buy this again and again if I have too, I wonder when they will bring back the 2Xl in the burgundy dress. I wish there was a way to know when they will restock...

I bought the stress for a wedding I was attending. It was so comfortable. The lace is very soft. For larger breasted women, the lace is accommodating without looking stretched. The shoulder area was perfect without looking to broad The bottom part of the dress was perfectly heavy enough to move nicely when I walked. It didn’t fly around.I normally don’t write reviews but I needed to with dress. I cannot imagine a body types that it would not look good on!

I felt so pretty! This dress fit so well. I have very high hips so I did notice every now and then it would hunch up a little, but compared to other things I’ve worn it really wasn’t bad! This dress is almost universally flattering, comfortable, completely appropriate but with the proper amount of flirty kick to it as well! I wore this to a wedding where I didn’t really know anyone other than my boyfriend and the bride/groom, and I got so many compliments on my dress! Direct quote from my boyfriend: “the photographer just told me she thinks she’s taken as many pictures of you and me as she has of the bride and groom, she’s obsessed with how cute we are.” (We had matched his tie perfectly to my dress and made a very dashing couple)BUY THIS DRESS, you will not be disappointed! Perfect for any fancy occasion, it’s very well made, great quality fabric, very smooth zipper lines, hides shapewear really well! Hands down my favorite dress, I wish I had more occasions to wear it!

I bought this dress for a special anniversary dinner at a super posh restaurant that juts out into Lake Michigan. I was excited that it was 1) the same color as the dresses the bridesmaids wore in our wedding and 2) off the shoulder. Except it's really not. So I took a 1/2 star off for that. If you look at the first image, they seem to have photoshopped it to fit perfectly off the shoulder on the model. But the dress isn't designed to fit that way. Look through the reviews and you will see that most of the women are wearing it up, more like a boat neck. Disappointed in that. Otherwise, the dress is well made, although I did have to take it to the cleaner to have it steamed and to have the threads cut off the edges of the lace. It looked a tad sloppy otherwise. I took another 1/2 star off for that. Were the color and fabric quality not so extremely high, and the skirt so voluminous, I would have probably taken a full star off for each issue, but I couldn't bear to. I simply adore this dress. Concerning size, you should be aware that I am 5'6" and weigh 145 pounds and that because of my bust (40 C), I had a tinybit of trouble getting the side zip done up. That is not a problem with the dress though. I just have a very broad back. I really do recommend this dress. It is really beautiful. Just plan on extra time for having it steamed and consider that if you are a poor cutter like me, you may want to employ the services of a seamstress to trim those threads. Mine did it for nothing as an add-on to the steaming.

This dress was pretty much as I expected in terms of quality based on the other reviews (very good for the price), but here are some details on the fit. I am a size 0 and I bought an extra small, which I had high hopes about fitting perfectly since others have said this dress runs small. Unfortunately for me, it does not seem to run small at all. The fit was decent throughout the bodice, but the sleeves were quite a bit loose. It’s not noticeable enough to warrant returning, but I will need to alter it. Despite this, I am still giving it 5 stars, because if you are a size 2 (which also qualifies as extra small) it will probably fit perfectly. The material is quite stretchy, so if you are on the smaller end of your size and have the option of buying a smaller size, I would recommend sizing down. Aside from the sleeves, the skirt was a flattering fit and a good thickness, and hit about an inch below my knee. A nice detail they have provided is a strap with rubber grips around the top of the sleeves to help them stay put. I bought the burgundy color-it does not have blue undertones, as I was afraid it might, but is a true dark red.Overall, I definitely recommend the dress.

Granddaughter wedding. Everyone love the dress. Especially my daughter in law. Didn't have to return this one.
