The Reason I went to Amazon and paid $30 for this piece of crap was this is what my other $12 belt was doing and I WANTED A SOLID LEATHER BELT WHICH THIS IS NOT!I have an older solid leather belt that has lasted me 15+ years until buckle broke. Looked at reviews and thought this was solid leather. DO NOT BE FOOLED. You are better off going to Ross Dress for Less and getting a belt that is going to do the same as this belt for 1/3 the price. I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS IF I COULD.

This belt is what I was searching for. A solid belt that feels and looks like it will last. Sizing charts were good. I wear 36 waist and bought a 38 belt, and it buckles to the 2nd hole. Belts are made so shitty these days these days and made in other countries and made by companies that have no quality control or care for quality control. I saddens me and makes me angry that so much that is made these days is poor quality only to be replaces after a short amount of time. I will check by in as year or two to edit my post and sate how this belt has held up. GOD BLESS THE USA!

Update: I've now been wearing a pair of these belts, one black and one brown, daily for about 18 months and the quality is still there. Nothing really showing as far as wear and tear or hole stretching and I'm not a small guy. I wear 42/44 pant size so the belts are getting a good workout with nothing in the way of degradation in the quality. Good job!The belt industry over the last decade seems to have gone the way of maximizing profits. So many low quality belts out there masquerading as high quality with even more expensive, designer belts lacking in basic durability. A Tommy Hilfiger belt ($40) which was my latest attempt at finding something reasonably durable lasted less than two years with it being used less than a day per week. So far I'm very impressed with this belt; the quality looks very good and I think it'll hold up well. I'll update this review if, in the future, my opinion of it changes but so far, it's excellent.

Bought for my husband. Arrived quick. Belt is well made. Thick and extremely sturdy. Not a belt that seems like it will wear out. Great price too!! Will be ordering another for my dad.

My husband likes his new leather belt! It is attractive in its finish and works well in his old man jeans :) This is a more informal style belt, perhaps not what the executive type would choose, but good looking and well-made for everyday wear. One of the best things is that it is made in the USA! My hubby liked it well enough to order a second one. It is more expensive than some belts, but worth the money, we would have to insist!

This belt was purchased because of the reviews and it is made in the USA. I have only worn it for a couple of days but from the moment I received it, I noticed how sturdy it is. It is made of thick, strong leather and I am sure it is going to last a very long time. Perfect pick for a work belt though it could also be worn as a dress belt. I do not plan on buying another belt for sometime and I don't think I will have to because this belt is solid! You won't be disappointed.

The quality of this Main Street Forge Journeyman Leather Belt is first class. The leather is thick but flexible and comfortable and the workmanship is superior. No synthetic materials here at all. I am done with buying belts from anywhere else for my family. Time and time again, belts for a variety of other manufacturers labeled as "genuine leather" shred, tear and break within weeks of gentle use. None of the belts from other manufactures that I have purchased for my family over the past couple of years have lasted an reasonable amount of time. Even though labled as "genuine leather", after each broke, it could be seen that there was only a thin layer of leather on the outside adhered to a soft, spongy synthetic material inside. Those other manufacturers are underhanded, falsely labeling their products. Now that I have stumbled upon Main Street Forge and their superior quality products so difficult to find in our current throw-away society, I will be back for more excellent products. Since I just received this belt yesterday, I cannot report on longevity however I Purchased this belt because my previous one which was more than double the price would stretch over the Course of the day and by dinner time my pants would almost be falling off. I noticed when I received this belt it has no stretch and fit perfectly. I can already tell that it will not stretch out by dinner time. I also carry an item that weighs two pounds every day and with this belt I don’t even know it’s there. I never knew about could make such a difference but it actually does. If the belt lasts as I suspect it will I am going to be very happy with this. I am very pleased that it is made in the USA and that it is of such good quality. I will be purchasing one or two more both to have an extra and to put one in my overnight bag. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase.
