Relieved to have found these as replacements!
The plastic casing on the original key fobs for my security system cracked, so for the longest I carried the fob in my purse rather than on my key ring. Not so convenient! I asked here on Amazon about purchasing a new fob and transferring the computer "guts" from the old to new. I quickly got several responses telling me that I could, in fact, do just that! I am SO happy to have found these fobs on Amazon! I now have new fobs with new keypads that actually stay on my key ring.

Nice remote replacement for mom’s alarm system. This needs to be programmed by an alarm technician.

Arm Your Alarm - One Key on the Napco Gem-Keyf
Napco's Gem-Keyf was easy to program and was an identical match to my other fob that I purchased when my alarm system was installed. The two auxiliary buttons are great for triggering emergency response as well.

In an earlier review I stated that this "does not contain a battery." It turns out that I was looking in the wrong place and it does contain a battery.I was able to program this device easy enough with the Napco documentation I had for my home alarm system.
