This is Book 12 of the Steel Brothers Saga.
This book is continuing on from the story of Bryce & Marjorie.Ā Marjorie is, of course, the sister of the Steel Brothers, and Bryce is Joe Steel's best friend for years.Ā Bryce and Marjorie are in love.Ā All characters are in this book.Ā This is an ongoing mystery of the Steel Brothers earlier life, and right on into their adult life.Ā Different pieces to the puzzle keep emerging and have to be solved, and people have to be found that are involved.Ā There is a lot of action in this story.Ā The writing is superb in portraying the way this mystery is solved, with almost every person getting a piece of the puzzle.Ā The steamy scenes between Bryce and Marjorie are outstanding.Ā I can't get enough of this series and can't wait to read the last three books.Ā You would think you would want it to end after so many books, but no, you cannot let go, and you only want more and more.Ā Thank you Helen Hardt for this brilliant series.

Finally! All the cards are played.
Shocks and surprises abound in this one. We are taken to the past in a way and get more info on a certain trip. The snowball effect of that has decades of implications!I am happy with the resolution of all of the steel novels. While I feel we have closed the book on most of the events that have happened since Marjorie's birth I am anxious to read the next 3 novels to see where all of this came from, to begin with.Thank you, Helen Hardt, for one epic ride with this family!

What an unexpected ending!
Marjorie Steel, got in my last nerve. WTF, was wrong with her cutting herself?! She considered herself tough because she grew up with three brothers. But when the chips are down, what did she do?! Cut her Damon self, because she felt guilty for being born???!!!! Nothing happened to her. Her brother Talon, was the one who suffered, at the hands of some sick psychopaths. Yet and still she took it upon herself to feel guilty because of her birth. He was taken because of a sick psycho woman, scorned. To me, Marjorie was nothing but a over indulgent spoil brat. She just had to get in on the act by cutting her Damon self. That's not a picture of strength to me, but pure weakness. She couldn't even use the Damon blade when it was necessary for her to do so to save herself. Enough of her! This book had me, guessing all the way up to the last chapter. I was waiting for Case to capture one of them and torture them. But the ending was nothing but a build up anticlimactic disappointment. Of course I felt sorry for what happened to Cade, at the hands of Tom Simpson. But I was expecting him to be done kind of whacked out psycho, who was out to exact revenge against Bryce Simpson, and Joe Steel. It turns out he's harmless. The entire book saga was good up until the end of this book. Not what I was expecting. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of my usual 5. Looking forward to reading Bradford and Daphne Sheep's story, in "Fate'.

Hardy just wants your $7.99!
Please skip Helen Hardt. She just wants your money at $7.99 a pop! I only bought one of the Steel Saga novels. I read most of them for free via Overdrive. Ok, I read them, and I'm telling you not to bother. Sounds pretty stupid. Again...all but one were free. I think Hardy writes with a thesaurus at her elbow. Does word length help determine word count for a novel to be finished? I think it might. Harry's heroines don't have hair, they have "tresses" - characters aren't 'in' a room they are "ensconced" . Really? Yep, we all use those words daily! Her word choice isn't her worst failure. Characters due in these novels, but then they aren't dead. One character, the father, is really not dead TWICE!!! None of his son's thought to check...TWICE!!! ...despite the fact that the second time he died he was in a room full of people! If Hardy was writing about zombies it would have been acceptable. The mother is only dead, and then not dead once. Seriously? Again, Hardy just wants your $7.99.

Soap Opera
This is book 12 in the Steel Brotherās Saga and the conclusion to Marjorie and Bryceās story.ā©The book starts with Marj, her mother and Colin having been kidnapped. Bryce, of course, moves heaven and hell to find her (and them.) There are many twists along the way but it works out in the end. Finally, a book in this series without a cliffhanger!ā©Soap opera comes to mind with this book, even more so than the previous books. New characters appearing, old characters coming back, twists that you didnāt see coming but should have expected are all included. it wraps up into a good book but I must say that this is not my favorite of the books. I purchased this one because I love the rest so much and couldnāt stand the wait for the library to get it. I was a little disappointed and almost regret buying it. (However, I have enjoyed the pre ious books and Ms. Hardt does need to sell her books so she can continue writing. So, Iāll get over my disappointment.)

So much more answered
I have read all the books in this series? I love how Helen shows us the flaws in her characters. She let us see so much more of Marjorie and Bryce and how they both carry such heavy burdens in the family drama. Their passion for each other is hot and sexy and I find myself really liking their need for each other to find peace mentally and physically throughout their lovemaking in this book. AndThe title suits this, just when I thought I knew who was dropping clues that they were allbeing watched and were stillIn danger, she takes the story to another level.Have to admit did not see that coming. Waiting patiently for Fate which will be very tough to do.Again big fan of her beautiful story telling.
