AISIN WPT-803 New Engine Water Pump with Gaskets - Compatible with Select Lexus ES350, RX350, RX450h Toyota Camry, Highlander, RAV4, Sienna, Venza

I am not rich so i wanted to do this job with as little $$$ as possible. Since the Dealership wanted almost $1700 for this job, i decided to tackle the job my self. I spent a whole week watching YouTube videos on how to install this water pump on my 2013 Toyota Highlander 3.5L Limited 4WD with 150,000 miles.. The noise coming out of the water pump was becoming unbearable especially in the morning when I start the car. My neighbors could hear the annoying grinding noise every morning and i am sure they loved it :)Anyways, I originally bought a Gates Water Pump (WH061821 from Amazon but realized that I had a small leak after installing the water pump. I tried to diagnosing the leak and took the water pump apart again, cleaned the mating surface, used thread sealer on the long bolts but this didn't work. I realized the Gates water pump gasket may be the problem so i decided to by an OEM water pump.I saw the AISIN WPT-803 New OEM Water Pump Kit on Amazon and read all of the reviews and deiced to but it. I received the ASIN WPT-803 in about 3 days and it took me at least 6 hours to do the job. It's been almost a week and I have no single leak and no more grinding annoying noise and my neighbors are now waving and saying hello to me again :).Things you need to know before you do this job: Don't just change the water pump when you do this job. Put some efforts and cash to it and change the serpentine belt, the tensioner and idler pulley, and the thermostat. also invest in a small toque wrench (I didn't have this the first time and I believe I over tightened the bolts and this may have caused the metal gasket to break and leak). You need to raise the engine a little bit on the passenger side...just unbolt the head bolt to the mount but no need to completely remove the bolt or the mount. I also remove the 3 bolt under the front/middle mount but I did not remove the mount itself.Overall, the AISIN WPT-803 New OEM Water Pump Kit is solid and a good fit for my Toyota Highlander. The price was reasonable and worth it! The job wasn't really hard but you need to be patient and be sure to have all of the tools you need before starting the job.

Fit perfectly, works great. This is literally the toyota water pump with the name Toyota ground off ... same great quality, US Made part. Will use these as my standard replacement. Learned my lesson using a much cheaper water pump, this is a big job and the $50 el cheapo pumps will leak out the weep hole within a year.

Had originally rejected this red box pump due to the casting markings that were not cleaned up. This pump is made in the USA compared to the blue boxed AISIN WPT-137 pump which was purchased and found to have the holes for the 10mm bolts drilled offset so it wouldnt fit. Pump works without problems and was well worth the purchase.

As good as OEM! Asin makes this part for Toyota. Comes with gasket and needed seals. Such a pain in the…back to replace this as space is tight and this requires medium shade tree mechanic skills. But I gotta stress, even if you think you need a new idler pulley or tensioner and/or idler pulley ( you need to buy a complete tensioner unit and steal the pulley off of it , or else you need to remove the AC compressor to replace the entire tensioner—you don’t want to do that.) the water pump is well made. Smooth, and quiet!

This is the newest upgraded water pump made for Lexus and Toyota. Where Toyota would have been imprinted on the pump was ground off. It appears to be of good quality and has AISIN imprinted on the casing. The main gasket for the water pump came in the box, but the thermostat housing gasket ,Toyota part #16325-31010. and the Toyota part # 96761- 24019 o ring for the cross over pipe was not. Nice and quiet again no worn bearing sounds.

Amazon put my review on the wrong water pump, I did not purchase or install this model , read reviewTo see the pump I recommendA well known YT Toyota mechanic , “the car care nut” made a point to recommend this particular water pump with a scalloped pulley mount, not the round pulley mount , he said it’s the latest and best designThe new pump has been on for a thousand miles and 3 weeks, no issues at all so far , installed on a 2GR-fe , 3.5 V6 .

If people do not know this is OEM pump Lexus used from the factory this is the updated one so you will not have leaks like the original one had great price.

Fit perfectly on my 2008 Rav4 V6. Fantastic gasket that does not require any rtv sealant. Bolt it on and no leaks. Installed one on 2007 Rav4 as well and same fit and no leaks. Great OEM part that just does not say Toyota on it. Highly recommend this part and at a great price. :)
