yes but no, the size is almost right, but you have to overinflated it slightly to get your legs at 90 degree angle. This ball exploded on me, si got are fund and bought one with a much thicker wall. More expensive, but saved me the embarrassing an painful instant drop to the cement floor. I was lucky in the position that I fell, there wer no injuries. I am having hard time inflating it using the pump it comes with. Most of the air escapes before it gets into the ball. Will appreciate any tips!

Agreed that the pump is very cheap that comes with it. It took us some time to inflate it as well. One person held it on while the other pumped it up and even then, it kept slipping off. We eventually got it, but it did take some time. If you have an air compressor, that might work a little faster for you. Just be sure to not over inflate it.

How do you know what size to choose? Weight? Height?

It is determined by height. The recommendations are for using the ball for fitness reasons. If you are going to use it for a desk chair (frequent alternate use) then you might need a different size depending on the height of the desk. From what I remember, 66"-72" in your height would be a 65 cm ball. If you are taller or shorter, determine accordingly.

I, too, am 5'7" and this is the largest ball they make. I like it because its NOT low like the other ones where it makes it hard to get on and off. This is the perfect height for me! I also purchased the ball "stand" so it would not roll around on the floor. Happy with both items.
