Bought this just for me as the rest of my family have different preferences when it come to which type of rice is better. I like the dryer sort of like broken rice more. Although isn't the cheapest rice cooker out there, but I don't want to go too cheap and so far, I like this rice cooker.Pros:- Easy to clean.- Easy to cook because of the small portion.- Small and light, can absolutely travel with.- Price is fair, I'll pay for itself over daily use.Cons:- The two thin plastic latch is very weak, so don't go Super Saiyan Blue on it. They could of done a better job of making it beefier.Other thoughts:For the price, it's there's no digital button and display, but it's pretty simple and straight forward. I haven't had a "leak" like other reviewer have said... Maybe I know how to cook my rice and not overfilled it with water or rice. I still wish it has a digital display and better latch. Otherwise, I've would of given it 5 stars. Also, time will tell if it last long. I'll give an update if something happened. I think it was a good buy. hope time will tell.

Very compact, doesn’t take up much room. Works well and quietly. Everything about it is easy in operation and cleaning. The instructions are very vague. Making porridge is trial and error, but simple enough. Most people know how to make rice already. After cooking it goes to keep warm level until you unplug. No over boiling or spillage. Extra rice needs to be put in a separate container for storage. Rice pot doesn’t have an independent lid. It’s perfect for dorm rooms, travel and small quarters. Very cute comes in 2 colors.

I am a single person. I love this rice cooker. I can make small amount of rice without wasting excess amounts of left over rice. This rice cooker cooks rice quickly making meal preparing a quick and easy task. I highly recommend this rice cooker if you are looking for the ability to make small batches of rice.

I'm returning the rice cooker as it is too small and the water level measurement is on the outside of the bowl. I waited for 25 minutes before opening the cooker. I ended up putting the rice in the microwave for 2 minutes. I used 1 1/2 cups of rice and it was at the top of the container when it finished cooking so I was unable to add ingredients and had to put the rice in a bowl. Much easier and faster to cook rice on my stove. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I thought it was the right size as I'm cooking for one.

It is easy to use - only one button, and numbers engraved on the bowl inside to guide you how much water per rice cup.Cleaning is quite easy as well - the lid comes off, so no need to hassle with holding the whole unit when you clean it.However, this product bubbles over really easily. I know starch content is the main reason for bubbling over, but I washed the rice 3-4 times until the water becomes clear. I only do one cup, so there’s a lot of excess space to the top. Yet somehow this bubbles over and drools starch water beneath it all the time, making me use it in the sink.It’s really annoying, but other than that it does the job in 15-20 minutes. Hopefully I’ll try buying a different rice next time and see if it still drools starch water. 3 stars for now, will update.

I love my new mini rice cooker, it is great for making small meal for my baby. It cooks rice fast, is easy to clean, and keeps food warm after cooking. Perfect for small spaces or travel. Highly recommended!
