I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about this cardigan!!!! It is incredibly flattering and VERY useful at providing some additional coverage to areas you may want to hide without becoming huge and shapeless since the belt (the connected long parts on the side) allows you to still create a really feminine shape and accent your waist.It’s perfect for layering over a light shirt or dress. It’s my new equivalent of an Ann Taylor, Loft, Banana, etc cardigan that you throw over everything, but cheaper and the belt allows you to hide more. I LOVED the first two so much that I bought few more colors. (It took SERIOUS self-control to stop myself from buying every color and I’m sure I’ll cave eventually.) It can be dressed up for work or down for insane comfort! (Think cardigan, not jacket but the perk of the button to cover tummy areas.)It is definitely on the thin side, so expect that. It’s a light modal fabric (though not see-through), not a heavy belted sweater. I have severe hypersensitivity issues, and I’m still in love!I hang-dry mine so I can’t tell you about dryer durability. Admittedly, I haven’t had any of mine for very long so I can’t tell you about how it will do over time. Obviously, with the Ann Taylor, etc cardigans I compared them to before, you are paying for quality and they truly do last forever. I have no idea yet if these will be long haul items too but I really hope so.(I will try to update this after a while with how they hold up and add photos.) (5’7”, 230, apple/hourglass)

I love how the fabric falls—very flattering and comfortable! The belt is versatile in that it can be tied in front or back which brings a diff vibe depending on how you do it. Definitely a wardrobe staple piece; it’s light enough that it can be a cute lil coverup for cool spring mornings or summer nights. I got it on sale so I definitely feel it was worth the money, but I think full price is still fair. Fabric feels like a very light knit, but it’s not see through which is a relief. I really like this piece I’m glad I got it and plan to order one or two for my Mom as well.

the product description states that this is a Cardigan - cardigan implies sweater, and this is definitely NOT a sweater. It's just T-shirt material. it's actually quite thin, like hold up and be able to read through it with good light thin.That being said, I still like it. It's comfortable and provides an extra layer for when I want it. It is lightweight, as advertised, and it is flattering.

I ordered a 2XL- I am 5' 3" and weigh about 170lbs. The size runs a little smaller than normal, it fits but is not as roomy as I expected. The fabric is not real soft; it isn't thin like a t-shirt, but not real thick either. I don't think it is that flattering like others reviews say, at least not on me. I am keeping it because it looks ok left open and it will be good for the spring. My overall opinion is just average, glad I got it on sale!

I originally ordered the leopard one. The fit was perfect and beautifully made. I love the fabric and how it laid. But the leopard print was muddy and made it look cheap. So I sent it back the same day and ordered the purple one that came the next day. Saying that I was disappointed was the understatement. It came in a bag in a big ball. The leopard one didn’t wrinkle. This was not made out the same material. The material super thin and looked super cheap looking and fit fit was horrible. I had to make sure that it was even from the same company. But because of the reviews I read I tried for a 3 time. It came the next day and was even worse. It was shorter in the in the back and the sides for the front of it were in 2 different lengths. It came all balled up and just thrown in the package. Super thin material and again I checked the company seeing if it was the name. I couldn’t believe the fabric and workmanship were so different. Needless to say I sent it back today. I really want to try again but I’m scared what this one will be. But I did find another top I love but it wasn’t the wrap around like I wanted. VERY DISAPPOINTED 😢😢😢😡😡😡

Update: I decided to buy one more of these, after going a few years without one, and the one I received today is a cheaper knit, and it's shorter. It is not a wine red, but a Christmas red. Also looks cut much smaller than the original black one and the blue one I ordered the first time. I'm disappointed.Having read the reviews first, I ordered a size up. It fits wonderfully with some room to spare, which is nice to have. After I ordered it and the blue one, I then re-read reviews and got nervous that they would look sloppy and cheaply made. I'm not sure what the negative reviewers were expecting, but these are very nicely done. The tie helps rein in the 'flappiness' of it, and its slimming. The material MAY not hold up after repeated washings, but since its a cardigan, it shouldn't need to be washed very often.Also, the expected wrinkles from being packaged fell right out after running them in my dryer for about ten minutes on a steam wrinkle release cycle.For reference, I work in a small town attorney's office. Business casual, nice tops, slacks, dresses, and jeans on Friday is the expected clothing. We handle a lot of large real estate transactions and have a lot of well heeled clients... and I will not hesitate to wear this to work. In fact, work is exactly why I bought it/them.
