Consuelo Caffeinated Ground Coffee Gran Aroma 250 g (Pack of 2)

I find that any given coffee can taste slightly different even if made in a similar device and can certainly taste different from say a stove-top moka pot to a espresso/cappuccino type machine. So for what it's worth, I'm making espresso coffee in a “De'Longhi Dedica Style Traditional Pump Espresso Machine” with this Italian coffee.I find that this “Consuelo” coffee makes excellent espresso. Full flavour that lingers long after the drink has been had. It is incredibly full flavoured, intense and very smooth, with no harshness about it. My regular coffee had, for a long time been a “French Style Roast & Ground” coffee and whilst the “Conselo” might have seemed slightly less strong initially, it still has plenty of strength about it nonetheless. I really like this coffee and will be ordering more of it as soon as I've finished this review.The coffee, made in northern Italy, is a blend of Arabica coffee beans, primarily from the Brazil Highlands and Central America, and Robusta coffee beans from the Far East. The 250g bag is a foil vacuum shrunk (hard) block type bag of coffee.

This is a nice tasting coffee, not as strong as I would like but still represents a good value for money. Has a lovely smell but lacks the intensity of a flavour that I was hoping for.

Yes perfect for that first morning coffee and works well with my French press filter jug, the price is good too. I will buy regularly.

Went by the reviews and price... Honestly I was hoping it would be comparable to lavazza but it's not. It's quite bitter and smokey not smooth at all, such a shame! It will be left in the back of the cupboard for emergency coffee!

Nice coffee. I like I quite strong with tasty aroma. This satisfies that taste with a few nice subtle flavours thrown in for good measure and a pleasant aroma. I use an Aeropress, never disappoints. I have tried lavazza qualitea rossa and I think this is nicer and better value.

I have enjoyed this coffee, especially I have it black and strong, so the flavour is delightful, recommend for coffee drinkers like me

I was drawn to this coffee based on price. I needed some value for money coffee with some good reviews and took a chance. Now as far as flavor goes, it's really not too bad. Not my favourite taste but then I do like Kimbo and Illy.... But try getting those for £2.50 a pack. When I do a nice strong espresso or cafe longer though the machine this coffee is pretty decent and I've been using it as my wake up fog lifter in the morning. For the price, you can't go wrong... I'll definitely finish the two packs.

Everyone's taste in coffee is personal and subjective. I like a cup of strong black coffee for breakfast to start my day and this blend to me does not disappoint. It brews well in my cafetière, also the the price is very completive.

L'ho acquistato per un regalo di Natale "a scatola chiusa"..., ed è stato una vera sorpresa. Alcuni ospiti sono rimasti stupiti da questo ottimo caffè...! Ne acquisterò ancora visto che non lo trovo altrove. Buon prezzo, vista la qualità.

Cette marque continue de nous faire apprécier le café.J'ai testé le café de cette marque Consuelo en dossettes et en grains, c'était parfait .Celui-ci , moulu, a un bel arôme : agréable odeur du café qui passe dans ma cafetière à filtre le matin ! Rien que çà et la journée commence bien !Le conditionnement en paquet de 250 grs est très bien car ainsi l'odeur du café reste ;Nous avons tous apprécié ce café au petit-déjeuner.La livraison est très rapide; l'emballage est parfait.

Uso principalmente una macchina a pressione che predilige una macinatura non troppo fine , questo caffè aveva una macinatura adeguata sl mio caso .Un caffè a mio parere bilanciato . Corposo e cremoso , non particolarmente acre ne acido .Dal sapore deciso , persistente sul palato e lievemente amaro .Forte in versione ristretto ma altrettanto piacevole in versione corto .Girandolo col cucchiaino la crema si riforma subito .Insomma un caffè in linea con il suo prezzo , personalmente l’ho comprato scontato del 30% , e a questo prezzo lo consiglio serenamente .

Du fait de sa mouture, ce café n'est pas adapté aux machines Espresso (mouture pas assez fine) ni aux cafetières à piston dites "à la Française" (mouture trop fine). Il pourra par contre être utilisé avec des filtres papier classiques ou coniques et également avec des cafetières "Italiennes" (type lessiveuse). Le mélange 60-40 (Arabica d'Amérique latine, Robusta d'Afrique de l'est..... sans autres précisions) en font un café "puissant" que d'aucuns jugeront un peu amer car puissance et amertume sont trop souvent synonymes (pour le café LOL). Faiblement dosé , il pourra tout à fait être consommé le matin. En augmentant la dose, il fera un café de midi tout à fait correct. Bien sûr, la finesse et la variété aromatiques ne sont pas ses principales caractéristiques mais son prix tout à fait abordable ne le classe pas non plus dans les Grands crus bien plus onéreux. Á noter que le café est fourni dans un emballage sous vide, ce qui n'est pas à mon avis la meilleure technique de conservation. L'encapsulage sous azote est préférable. C'est d'autant plus notable pour cette livraison qu'un des deux paquets livrés n'était plus sous vide....... donc à consommer rapidement.

He tomado café durante muchísimos años y sin duda este es un buen café. No entiendo tantas críticas hacia él. Tiene un buen aroma y un sabor intenso, repetiría sin duda. Lo compre como parte de una promoción muy buena.
