I purchased a security system with 4 cameras and storage. The unit it came with only lasted two years. Bought this for the replacement. Been 6 months and no issues. Easy install and great capacity before rewrite loop starts.

Easy installation
This hard drive was really easy to install! I just installed it a few hours ago, but when I powered my system back ON, it asked to format and I clicked yes..... Everything is working as before, and I can't hear any noise coming from my system.

Easy to replace with old
My HDD failed in my video camera's and would not record or even detect I had one. Bought this to replace it and it was so easy to do and magic, my system is working. Thanks Seagate.

Quick replacement for Q-See QT504 1 TB drive.
My Q-See QT504 went black on all channels. The 1 TB hard drive had gone out (WD AV-GP). After watching a YT video I ordered this unit. When it arrived (2 Days) I opened the package and took the raw drive out and put it in my QT504 unit. Just 2 pluga with SATA drives. Turned on the unit and it immediately recognized the new HD. Reset all settings and selected format for this drive. 5 minutes later my Q-See QY504 was once again up and running and operating on all channels! Very happy with this!

Good hard disk
I ordered this Seagate Seahawk 1TB hard disk ST1000VX005 for my Dahua XVR4B08H. I inserted the hard disk without any issue and the unit started working even without any formatting. The disk is working silently and I have already checked the playback function. Very good performance. Value for money item

Great Hard Drive
Used this in a security camera system I have. The old hard drive stopped working so I thought I'd try this one. It's twice the size of the one I replaced. Easy to format and fit into the system perfectly.No problems at all and it works great!
