Great metal feel and solid upgrade over standard plastic soap pumps
Looks great, and works great. It’s a great upgrade over the standard ~$20 plastic soap pump that I bought on Amazon a few years ago.Just note that you can’t adjust the amount of soap that comes out if you push down all the way. So, if you want less soap, don’t push down as far.Yet, the first one sent was clearly used and banged up, and I didn’t buy used.I had this item in my Amazon cart for a few years and never noticed it on sale.

Moen Soap Dispenser (3942): Easy Install (With a Minor Hiccup) & Feels Like a Quality Upgrade
Spruced up my kitchen sink with the Moen Chrome Deck Mounted Kitchen Soap Dispenser (model 3942), and here's my take:Solid Build & Easy Install (Mostly)The Moen dispenser feels much sturdier than my old one. The weight difference is significant, and it assures me of better quality materials. Installation was straightforward and designed to be installed through hole size 1-1/8" diameter. However, my existing dispenser hole was slightly wider. A quick fix with two 1-1/2" silicone gaskets created a watertight seal from top and bottom – something to consider if you're replacing an older dispenser.Clean Design, Smooth DispensingThe modern, minimalist design complements my kitchen nicely. Refilling is a breeze – just lift the top to access the sizable 18-ounce bottle below. The pump dispenses dishwashing soap smoothly with no leaks or wobbliness.A Note on Refills:While refilling is easy with the removable top, the bottle opening is a bit narrow for thicker liquids, and the reservoir itself doesn't hold a large amount of soap. This means more frequent refills.Pro-Tip for Refilling: To avoid bubbles and frustration during refills, I found inserting a 1' ¼ inch plastic tube into the bottle helps air escape as you pour in soap. The tube extends past the narrow neck, allowing for a smoother refill process.Overall:This Moen dispenser is a definite upgrade. It's stylish, feels like it will last for years, and dispenses soap effortlessly. Refilling is easy with the removable top, but the bottle opening is a bit narrow for thicker liquids. For the price, it's a good buy, especially if you're looking for a solid, well-made dispenser. Just be prepared to get creative with thicker refills!

heavyweight addition to my kitchen sink
After replacing my old faucet with a new one, I was left with an extra hole in the sink apron just crying out for a purpose. I order this dish soap dispenser and couldn't be happier with the increased functionality. The piece is heavyweight and feels solid. It was easy to install (thanks for previous reviewers who stressed the need to pre-prime the pump). I love that I can fill from the top since the space under the sink is pretty tight. All in all, a great addition to my kitchen!

Solid Metal Fixture
Different than most kitchen faucet combo kits that include a cheap/plasticy soap dispenser pump, this Moen dispenser is all metal and hefty. The unit fit the old counter receptacle like a glove; it was easy to install and looks great. The non-spotting surface claim is absolutely true.I did not use the bottle that came with the unit. Instead, I used the Yofidra Sink Soap Dispenser Extension Tube Kit 47" with Check Valve to connect this Moen dispenser directly to the 32oz dishwashing liquid bottle.I would recommend this as great replacement for your dispenser.Pros:- all metal and hefty- easy to install- can adjust to various counter thicknesses- soap dispenser pump cleanly without dripsCons:- a bit pricey for a soap dispenser

Metal Construction, Matches Satin Nickel
We are very happy with these, we have one for dish soap and another for hand soap. Each despenses about half a teaspoon of either soap with usually just one pump. I looked long and hard before I ordered this model, based upon a reviewer's comment that it was all metal. Most that I found were of plastic construction, regardless of price, including Moen. Not this one. It is heavy brushed stainless steel and the finish matches Moen brushed / satin nickel, and likely other brands of this finish style. The pump assembly is plastic, as most others are, and is a replaceable item. The installation is straight forward but four stars because the instructions are simple wordless cartoons and should be more explict and helpful. I'll also add that the installation of this unit is a two person effort.Something to note is that there are two washers, black and white. If you're not paying attention when removing the parts for assembly, it is very easy to mix these and install them backwards. The white washer goes below the base and above the countertop before the unit is installed. The black washer is installed against the bottom of the countertop above the nylon nut which is finger tightened. If you get these reversed, the black washer will protrude slightly from the base of the unit when tightened. Don't ask how I know this. :-)Another thing, we used the 47" extension hose kits instead of the supplied 18oz bottles. Swapping a 32oz bottle under the sink once or twice a year is more convenient for us. The hose kits have a supplied check valve which keeps the soap in the hose, preventing it from draining back into the bottle, another benefit.

Works perfectly and very comfortably fits the sink
I purchased the Moen to replace a soap dispenser that developed a hole which leaked with every use. The Moen soap dispenser is easy to install, fits perfectly in the designated hole in the sink, and has been very easy to use. The materials are very high quality. I love the Moen and recommend it.

Amazing quality
This thing is solid metal, very heavy for its size & feels like it'll last forever. Easy install, & the bottle just fits in the gap between my cabinet & sink. Looks & works great.
