have tried a few step downs, and this one works perfectly! before installation monitored and watched the output for a few days and finally success. So installed the eco worthy 25 watt panel it was being tested with, north facing, adding this step down and added to the cctv 5 volt USB camera and bingo...works a treat........Keeps the North facing cctv CHARGED.....

This converter I use to feed single board computer which requires 2-5 amps.It took me a while to find reliable step down converter, but this gadget does the job.No current fluctuation, no heat and does work from battery pack I have which produce 10.8V
