Amazing book
My 8yo son didnโt want to read the Rabbi Harvey series but as soon as he started he could not put them down. He said they are now his favorite books! Wish author would add to the series.

I heart Rabbi Harvey
Pretty much one of the wackiest yet very readable drawing styles ever, paired with really good, funny and philosophical tales well told. This may sound like a novelty, and they are really funny, but it works at a much higher level than what you may think if you are not yet acquainted with Rabbi Harvey and his exploits. I have all 3 and if there were more I would get those too.

Rabbi Harvey Rules!
In this second graphic novel of Wild Western tales Rabbi Harvey dispenses wisdom and justice to the fictional shtetl of Elk Spring, Colorado, and surrounding areas, taking on Bad Bubbe, Big Milt and Wolfie Wasserman, and even the wind with his mind instead of a gun. The illustrations evoke the Old West and are simple enough to avoid detracting from the story. There is no cartoon nudity in this volume, although he does get down to his underwear a couple of times. I highly recommend this funny, funny book to anyone of any age, whether or not they have a religious persuastion of any sort. Those with Jewish literacy will enjoy seeing the old Jewish folklore and rabbinic tales in such an incongruous setting, but everyone will appreciate the wit of the stories.

I loved the book - it was funny and smart
I loved the book - it was funny and smart. However, the book itself is very poorly produced. It literally fell apart as I was reading it for the first time (and I am an adult, not even a kid, for who this book is intended). The binding is extremely poor. I suggest buying the Kindle version instead.

A lot of fun
I admit to initial doubts about the Rabbi Harvery books, but when I finally read them, they were extremely fun and entertaining. He admits he takes otherwise known Jewish stories, and rewrites them in a western setting, but they are good stories, and the retelling is done really well. The dialoge is often hilarious, and these books really appeal to the American Jewish public.

Engaging and fun take on classic tales
My children love this series of books, and have reread each one. They are an engaging take on the classic tales, with a fun sense of humor.
