A great way to take advantage of vertical space in rental balconies
I rent and used this instead like a faux trellis or board for hanging items since you can’t drill into walls (and to limit damage), helping further cement my balcony as my place to have peace every day. I picked the design because with some simple hooks I am able to hang items well and because the grid pattern allowed the wind to pass between and minimize swaying on windy days. Mimics the iron work perfectly. Mixed with some high end items, it’s one of the best balconies in downtown.

Nice quality. Not sure it helps with the wind, but very attractive as a privacy panel.
This is a very attractive privacy panel. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. There were two little nicks in the paint, but they were along the edge, and the backside, easily fixed with a little dab of matte black rustoleum. We bought two panels, and we secured them to the ground with some heavy-duty galvanized stakes and that seems to be holding up just fine. We have had some pretty bad winds and there have been no issues. We bought the panels mainly to help block wind. I'm not sure how well they are performing in that regard, since there are holes in the panel that allow air to go through. But they are so pretty, we like them anyway, for privacy. These were fairly easy to assemble. Make sure to only hand tighten the nuts as you go so that there is some play and you can jockey the panels around to line up the holes. After all of the screws are in, then you can go back and tighten everything. Once you get the hang of assembling one, it gets easier. We bought 6 more panels (of a different design) and installed them along the back of our deck. It is possible to join two panels together by putting the screw through both panels, thereby eliminating the space that would result from the screw heads in between. The screws are long enough to pass through two panels. We used some Loctite on the screws as we found they were loosening over time.

Looks nice but only order what you know you'll use.
Looks nice, easy to put together & serves the intended purpose. Would recommend ordering 1 at a time because we ordered 2 but after putting up 1 realized we didn't need the 2nd. UPS drop off going to cost $50 to return the extra item so we'll just keep it.

So cute!
These are so cute and so easy to put together! I am using them as a little fence in the back of my yard and they are sturdy even when we've had a lot of wind storms this year! I did buy extra stakes to make sure they were really anchored down but I think they would have been fine with what was provided. Everyone always compliments them when they see them in the back yard! I just wish they were back in stock because I need two more.

Not worth it.
We got 8 of these. We were initially surprised by the cheap-feeling plastic, and the fact that they are only “pretty” on one side. We decided to go ahead and put them together anyway because returns aren’t easy, and we needed a solution for privacy quickly. Our mistake. While putting them together was easy, keeping them put together is anything but. With every gust of wind, they blow over and the screws come out. They look okay- but they not safe, not sturdy, and absolutely don’t justify the price tag. If you’re looking for a truly freestanding option, keep looking. This might work for someone that can attach to the ground, or happens to have a ton of sandbags they just wanted to pile onto something- but otherwise, no. Just no.

Easy way to add privacy
We have two of these on our back deck with some faux greenery attached to create privacy. They’re very sturdy and attractive, and easy to put together. We slid the back half of the stands under the lowest part of our deck railing for stability.
