Great Value
I wear Du rags often for outdoor work to help keep sweat out of my eyes and to protect my folically challenged head :-). These are very lightweight, have a good sweat band, look good and wick moisture off the head well. The price is also very attractive. I recommend this product

High Quality, Great Price, Cool Look
I wear dew rags almost everyday for either working out or working outside around the house and 99% of the time under a wide brim, floppy canvas hat for sun protection. I've got a variety of styles and designs (e.g. a rubber strip over the eye brows to channel away the sweat). This dew rag is well made of high quality materials. I've got a fairly big head but the elastic strap doesn't seem excessively tight as some folks have commented (and you know what you can do if it is...............snip, snip). And as with dew rags of this style with the elastic strap, the rag can ride up in the back and expose the elastic strap...if that kind of thing bothers you. The sweat band, made of a thin, absorbent cloth, extends from the top of one ear to the other, which is longer than most of my other dew rags. The main cloth material is fairly soft and pliable (I've got some that are fairly rough and stiff...and mostly unused). The cloth is porous but the weave is pretty tight so I expect the ventilation to be reduced a bit, especially under my floppy, canvas hats, or for other headgear folks may wear. This reduced ventilation (when wearing with a hat) should only be an issue during warm and humid conditions (like here in southeast LA, May through September) but welcome during cooler weather. If you just wear the dew rag and don't put a hat of some kind over it, this nitpick should not be an problem. The provided photo shows a pretty long "tail" to the dew rag but that's only if you "gather in" the three back pieces. I do a "shoe lace knot" myself so there's not much of a tail left over.I'd give this a 4.5 out of 5 if I could but the cloth and tail comments are very, very minor (and personal) issues. This is a high quality dew rag for an outstanding price and I expect it to last a long time. And, oh yeah...................................FLAME ON !!!

I bought more of these after I tried them!
I absolutely love this! I have a number of this style of bandana, and my biggest complaint is their tendency to come off very easily. Not these Chill-It's! They have an elastic band about 1 1/2" wide that fits snugly on my head...keeping this thing in place like nobody's business. So, when I'm under a car working...I don't have to mess around trying to keep this on my head with greasy gloves. I also wear ball caps over the top...and it all works very nicely. I like them so much that I bought 2 more! If I had any request it would be that the company would offer these in a larger collection of prints and colors. Otherwise, they are excellent!

All Ergodyne is missing is MultiCam!
The flame design is perfect for blacksmiths in the Texas summers. When its 105F in the shade, and you are standing by a forge getting the right heat on your iron stock without melting it, sweat pours off your body. Dew rags keep that sweat out of your eyes, and keep long hair (if you have it) from falling towards the coal flame in the forge's fire pot. Take that utility and add Ergodyne Chill-it fabric and you have a 5 star winner. Too bad it doesn't also come in MultiCam! (Hint hint, Ergodyne, DigiCam no longer cuts it).

The elastic band keeps it snug to your forehead.

Does the job of absorbing perspiration when I am working.
What can I say - it is a a Dew Rag. I use this when I am working around the house. I tend to sweat a lot when working and the perspiration gets in my eyes. This is really good for absorbing the moisture and keeping the sweat out of my eyes. Is a lot more effective than my baseball cap. It has a little built in sweat band in the front. The material help evaporate the moisture quickly which has a cooling effect.

Skull-crushing skull-cap
Waaay too small for my Pumpkinhead/Xenomorph-sized noggin. It's basically a headband with a little cloth on top. I'm only 5'9", but it's far too small. I believe this is made for mini-bikers that ride mini-bikes in mini motorcycle gangs. If you have a small or medium head, or know a witch doctor, this might work for you.

Needs some alterations
Light material which is good but not sure how durable it will be, don’t like the elastic band it’s not sewn to the fabric so you wear it a few times and you get material riding up and the elastic not moving. Cut the elastic band out and now it’s functioning much better.

Very nice.
I purchased this product to wear under my helmet while riding my motorcycle. I have found that wearing my helmet without wearing something like this tends to smell up my helmet as I am bald and sweat quite a bit while riding in the sunshine. This product feels really nice under the helmet. I have tried some other products out there and they some times have seams that cause some irritation when worn under the helmet. This one does not. Also the integrated head band is a nice feature to help hold it in place.
