I bought this battery because I thought my old battery died. Come to find out the charger was bad . It works fine , no issues at all. I gave battery life a 4 because i havent use it a lot and battery is still charged.

I cannot say how good the packs are, because I have not had them long enough. Hard to say, until you know how long they last. What I can say, is that they did not fit any of my Firestorm 14.4 tools, without putting a slight bevel on all of the edges, where they actually go in to the tool. after that, they fit nice and snug.. 4 stars, hoping they last a while, and so I could write a review.

Battery arrived with zero minimum charge and can not be charged with any charger. Can not even get a polarity reading out of the battery with a voltage tester.

Much cheaper than the B&D brand! Works well! Only complaint is that it doesn’t seat as easily/quickly as OEM but just need to wiggle the lock tab a little and it’s fine. The savings more than compensates for this minor inconvenience.

The 2 batteries I bought, worked with my drill, but did not insert and connect with the original B&D battery charger. The plastic guide in the connector was centered front to back in the B&D PS140 Power Pack Type 3 connector sleeve. The plastic guide in the Powtree 3500mah connector was closer to the back on both batteries. I loosened the charger screws to allow more play in the charger connector and that solved the problem.

This was a generic replacement for a a Black and Decker 14.6v battery. The battery it iselt seems to work fine but the fitment is terrible. Specicially, the clips that hold the battery into the tool are very loose and the battey falls out of the tool. I have applied a temporary fix using velco straps but I would not but this product again. Low price isn't worth it when it the product doesn't function properly right out if the box.
