Genuine Leather Zip Rosary Pouch with Gold Cross Design Black

Recently received this Rosary pouch and it is true to advertised. I ordered for a new Rosary I recently purchased and like to carry with me at all times. I am not commenting about durability as it is new and has not have time to age. I carry the Rosary in my pants and it is great.

I take my rosary with me to Church on Sundays and try to arrive early enough before mass to pray. My rosary is roughly 64 or more years old and was a gift from a friend many, many years ago, and I realised that carrying it without some sort of pouch left it vulnerable to accidents, and so I purchased this pouch for it.This pouch is average in how well it is stitched. The leather is not really hard nor is it super soft. It has a nice, sturdy feel to it. The zipper seems to work fine, and my rosary fits inside with no problems. However, it is not lined, and for this price point for something so small, I feel they could have added a nice soft lining, but they chose not to do, and this is why I rated it four stars overall.Only time will tell how well this little pouch stands up to regular use, but I imagine it should last for quite a long time if not abused in any way. The design is minimalist which I like considering its purpose is to house a sacramental. I purchased the black colour which seemed apropos to its function, but I seriously considered the purple colour which is a very old and traditional liturgical colour for the Church. I think the first thing to fail on this pouch will be the gold cross as it is stamped on and does not look very thick. I am provisionally awarding four stars for each point and four stars overall. If the pouch fails sooner than it should do, I will update the review.Overall, I am satisfied with this pouch, but as I said, I think that for the price point, they could have added a lining to this. It is a bit overpriced as is.
