My birds like it.

We buy several different seed mixes for our 28 year old parrot. She gets 1/2 cup of seed a day along with fresh fruits, vegetables and almonds. She is very healthy. Her feathers are beautiful. We know she is getting everything she needs in her diet. This bag of seed lasts a long time since we add it to several other varieties of seeds. The size of bag is good. The seed always looks fresh. We love our beautiful African Grey Parrot and want to give her good quality foods so she can live a long healthy life.Update:May 14, 2025I just reordered this parrot food for our African Grey parrot. It arrived nicely packaged and in good condition. Our parrot has always enjoyed this seed mix, however, it is NOT good to feed African Grey’s just seed diets. We supplement her diet with many fresh fruits, vegetables, almonds and occasionally other foods. I feel good giving her this seed along with a varied diet. It always seems fresh and she is a very cheerful, healthy, playful girl.

My parrot doesn’t like anything or anyone. He tolerates this food. He eats a little before throwing it at me and calling me stupid. That’s more than the other food we’ve tried.

Great value

Good bargain feed but not to be fed as consistent daily diet.

It a great mix of small to medium seeds and pellets, and in a small scoop something special usually pops up, like shell peanuts or an occasional dried pepper or banana chip. My bird, a stubborn seed junky Amazon parrot just loves it, and actually eats pellets better with this than anything else I've tried. It seems pretty substantial so we're sticking with it!
