Great Protection at a Reasonable Price
I purchased this sunscreen bottle for my kids' summertime activities but had the opportunity to test drive it last weekend on a river tubing trip.Bottom line: I didn't get scorched when most of my friends did.I had heard about the wonders of mineral-based sunscreen, and now I'm a convert. This lotion is a little thicker and average but with some TLC will eventually apply clear. I only applied once for a 4-hour float down a river in direct sunlight most of the way. No burns. Most of my party of 15 got burned somewhere. I think the proof is in the pudding... or lotion...The hypercolor bottle (it changes color when exposed to sunlight) is a fun little feature that may make it easier to get kiddos to apply if they're hesitant. (You can just tell them that the bottle is a safety indicator and if it changes colors -- which it will -- you need to put lotion on.)Overall, I think I've found a new favorite sun-protectant lotion.

Finally, no rash from sunscreen!
I guess my skin has become sensitive to sunscreens. I've tried several types available in local stores and I always break out in a rash (I'm over 60, so that's not acne). Did not get a rash from this sunscreen. It takes a little more attention to smooth in the white streaks, but spreads nicely.Lotion is not runny and does not feel greasy. Really didn't notice that I had put it on, and it protected me on an unusually hot, sunny day.

BEST mineral based sunscreen!
This is, hands down, our favorite mineral based sunscreen. It goes on easily and you don’t look like a ghost. We’ve tried so many brands, and this is our favorite It’s the most affordable for how well it goes on and protects. A small bottle goes a long way since it goes on well. We rub it in once and then I go back over after I’m done and do one final rub and if rubs right in without leaving you looking white. It stays on well. We have a pool and it keeps the kids from looking like a lobster. Best part, I don’t feel like I’m rubbing or spraying horrible chemicals all over my kids.

Check the ingredients for kiddos with sensitive skin
I used this brand for my baby. I loved it! Worked awesome no issues. So when we ran out and now my baby is a toddler I went with the Kids line not checking the ingredients. Baby line has titanium and zinc while Kids has octocyrlene and zinc. Big mistake, mama fail! Octocrylene can cause severe dermatitis and that’s what happened. My son ended up with overall hives and miserable for days! FYI to parents who have kids with sensitive skin!

One of the better sunblocks
At first I was skeptical about the review but then we got one and it really is good. It is not grease and doesn't leave much residue (we use to see tons of kid hand prints everywhere after apply sunblock). It may be we are not reapplying it often enough but my kids are still getting tanned :-(We like it that it doesn't smell either and gentle enough to even apply to face (my girls' skin is on the sensitive side). While the bottle turning blue in sunlight is cool, it does feel gimmicky so if they take it away and make it cheap, I would be fine w that...

Mineral based
Doesnt leave white cast on dark skin, but leaves skin looking dull.

Great for fare skin like myself.
This product is Great for outsiders with fare skin like myself. I definitely look like “white face” when first applied, after about 15 minutes it does sink in or is being absorbed by the largest organ of our body, If you need protection, this is Great. I even applied some on my grandchild (toddler) before going out for our daily walks and she looks in the mirror and thinks it’s cool when applying.Great product, I keep the dermatologist in business, maybe this will better protect my skin 🤞.

Do a spot test if your child has eczema!!!
This sunscreen recommends doing a spot test on your child if you're using it on a child with sensitive skin or eczema. DO THE SPOT TEST!!!! My 3 year old son cannot use this sunscreen. We used it one time and had a major skin flare up.That being said, as far as the quality of the product goes, it is a fantastic product. Flare up aside, my son did not get a sunburn while using this sunscreen. It spreads easily and definitely does its job. I got the spf 30 and the only pinkness he got was his eczema flare.
