I like the idea of connected devices throughout the home but I wasn’t sure quite how these plugs would stand up to the challenge of making life easier and less complicated but they’ve done remarkably well. I definitely needed to read the instructions as there’s a good few steps to achieving connection with your Alexa device if you have one but in the end it wasn’t too hard and now the possibilities are endless. You need to download the app then pair the plugs one by one to your phone using your WiFi password (you only need to type that once) then connect it to Alexa if that’s your plan. Even if not the app is good for designing how your home will work - designating the plugs to roles into certain rooms with certain tasks - for me I wanted to ensure the plug my kids use to charge their phones turns off at midnight so that they are not needlessly charging all night posing a fire risk. And I have some lights on the decking in the garden that it would be handy to be able to turn off and on remotely :-)I’ll be looking for more devices from this company to add to the system :-)

I'm really happy with how these are performing, especially given their price. I was a little nervous when I got them that their price would lead to quality issues or very limited functionality but I'm actually happily surprised.Full featured with almost everything I can think of that I'd want,and no need for a hub! I have one in my desktop and one in my lamp and they've made life so much easier. Being able to turn the computer on and off by voice is a doddle.They do tentatively ask for your mobile number in set up - not sure why they would want that, but I didn't give it to them and gave my email instead. Something to be aware of, but I've suffered no adverse consequences because of this.Will update if ant major issues come to light but so far so good!Can recommend!

 This is the future! This was my first step into smart plugs and I am very very impressed . Takes about 10 mins to setup mostly because I had to change my WiFi to broadcast on 2.4ghz rather than 5ghz. After that the guide and app (tuya) are very intuitive. The integration with an Amazon dot was simple, enable the skill and I can use it to switch lights on and off when on my home WiFi and outside the house.Check out the video using the app and Alexa app while on mobile data.

Wanted to be able to control plug sockets from my phone so thought these would convert my normal wall sockets to smart sockets. There is 3 plugs which I thought was great for the price, each plug has a on/off switch with blue indicator light on. I was worried it would be too complicated to set up but the instructions are easy to follow. You just download an app on your phone, connect the app to the smart socket and WiFi and then the socket can be controlled with the app. You can also order other devices to work with the app like light switches. It also works with Amazon alexa, Google home. This is certainly going to make my life easier and I am going to look into getting some smart light bulbs and other devices.

Great product. Easy to install and works flawless. I am not able to use google home and Amazon Alexa as I have other devices installed on SmartLife app but the support was extremely helpful and responsive. They have informed me that an update to Smartlife is being done to address that. The number one feature i needed was to receive notification one the garage door is opened or closed and it works perfect!!Awesome buy!! Highly recommend!!I will update once I can connect to my google home or Amazon echo (which to me is an added bonus)

The plug looks good out of the box. The set-up is simple just download the app and follow the instructions. I have three of these now and use them to control lights. Via the app you can set up scenes which allows you to control all or more than one smart plugs at the same time. Or if you want independent switching, that is easy to set up as well.

I like these kind of plugs and know have a few different brands. This one is for sure a competitor to all my other plugs and works great! Easy to set up and install and works all the time! Great!
