They work, they are practical to wash, and can’t beat the price
These work. Even with heavy makeup they work and most of the makeup washes off the actual pad. I have been using them frequently and hand washing them and yeah, they do show a bit of staining but....they’re white and we are talking waterproof mascara and black eyeliner.....I could probably get them completely white again but I don’t want to use harsh detergents on them. I just use Castile soap to clean them after I wash my face and then I hang them to dry. I don’t need to use any type of cleanser to remove my makeup with these which is great because my eyes are sensitive and prone to allergic reactions. They also exfoliate very gently but are not scratchy or harsh in the slightest. I use these to remove my makeup from my eyes, then wipe my foundation off and then I use a gentle cleanser on my face and avoid my eyes and that’s it. No need to put more potentially irritating chemicals near my eyes. No endless bottles of makeup remover, no unnecessary chemicals. My skin feels clean after I use them and I probably wouldn’t need to use a cleanser but miracle or not, these amazing things obviously can’t get inside of pores like a cleanser and water can. I have cloths that do the same but they have to be washed special and I find I rarely wash them in the washer because I have to wash them separately or by hand and then find a space to dry them flat. These have a loop and they dry surprisingly quickly just hanging on a hook, the cloths I have don’t try as quickly Unless I lay them flat which makes me feel like they are a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. I feel like I have to machine wash and dry the clothes whereas these I can mostly hand wash and give an occasional machine wash. I have no idea why these dry so quickly considering there is a foam pad inside but they dry within an hour or two. The cloths work just as well but since they aren’t practical to dry I end up using makeup remover instead. These solve all those problems and if staining bothers you I’m sure they would be white again if you used a detergent-like soap or machine washed them. The staining doesn’t bother me and it is really not a whole lot of staining for what they are being used for anyway. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase, I’m going to buy a few sets. They are definitely worth a try. It’s amazing how this material just removes makeup so easily. Plus I’m not wasting money on makeup remover or remover wipes which are about the same cost but only last a month and some of the preservatives irritate my eyes.

Great product
Great make up removal pads. I love that they are large and very soft. They wash well.

Facial cleanse
I love these these products. The facial pads I love because they are easy to use and do not drip. The makeup remover pads are a little thin but works with the Mieceller water which thoroughly removes makeup before I wash my face with pads without getting makeup on them.

It actually removes the makeup!
It does a great job removing my makeup using water only, I love not needing to find a cleanser that doesn’t cause breakouts, or dries my face out, etc...I was using a wipe that I thought was pretty good, but I used the wipe one night and used the pad afterward, and, it removed makeup that my wipe was leaving behind, I was genuinely surprised! The cotton is very soft and it cleans easily using some hand soap and warm or hot water....the soap cleans the makeup from the cloth so well...I’m thinking...better to use the soap on the cloth rather than on my face. Anyway, I gave this pad 4 stars because I didn’t know or like that there’s a foam pad between the cotton, I prefer just the cotton, so....I made a small cut in the material in the back near the edge and pulled the foam pad out from between the material, it works great now, and dries easily when washed.

Great quality facial pads
Love the way it feels on my face; very smooth. The pads are a nice size, thick, easy to use, but still leaves your skin feeling nice and soft with whatever product you are using with it. It is also very easy to wash if and when you are using makeup.

Just Ok for face washing, but definitely not a replacement for Face Halos
I bought these, hoping they would be a substitute the Face Halos I have been using for years, but can no long get. I think the company shut down. Unfortunately, the DaskFire Makeup Remover Pads (while acceptable in their own right) are not a good replacement for Face Halo. Pros: - Not unpleasant or plasticky on the skin - The inner foam layer makes it comfortable to hold and use. - They wring out easily, dry relatively quickly even with the foam insert, and essentially get the job done. Cons: - Nowhere near the quality of Face Halo. The surface fabric is not plush and ultrasoft, the way Face Halos were. - The size is larger, which would be fine for body, but is too big for my face. I can't easily maneuver into the tight areas around my nose or under my eyes. - It does not effortlessly remove makeup the way Face Halo did, and I have to use more facial cleanser than I did before. - The DaskFire Makeup Remover Pads are absorbent, but almost too absorbent. I hate the feel of water running down my wrists while I wash my face, and these pads have to be wrung (not just lightly squeezed) to make them wet enough to rinse cleanser off with, but dry enough not to drip water. - They also seem to retain a slight smell from the materials it is made with, which combines with whatever product you use. No matter how much I rinse it clean, the scent is still there. I would but these again to use as compact body washing pads (especially for travel), but I will have to keep searching for something that I will use on my face.

I've been using this for over a year
In a continued effort to cut down on using too much of everything, I loved the idea of my sister telling me about using face halos or face rounds, and so I decided to try it out for myself. I found these and really really loved everything it says on the page listing. I am all about minimal, lowkey, eco friendly and budget friendly. Guess what? I've been using these since lockdown (March 2020) and they work awesomely. However, they have turned grey/with smudges (even though I scrub using soap..I guess just with usage over time, that's what happens, but they're still clean). To be extra clean and hygienic, once a month, I put them and my microfiber face cloths I put my toner on into the wash. Anyway, maybe it's time I buy new ones. I recommend them!! Let's all collectively do our part in not being wasteful. We'll be helping the planet little by little, and saving ourselves money!
