Awesome bat, great color and quality, purchase with confidence!
Awesome product!I purchased this for my son's sixth birthday. He's a little tall for six, a tad thin and the fit was great. It's got a good weight on it (I'd think it'd be to heavy for 5 and under). It makes a great sound when it comes into contact with a ball. My nine year old and I also take turns with it, so I imagine he'll be able to use it for years to come. It's super durable, but we store it when not in use so it isn't left out in the elements or at the mercy of our two dogs. One tip to parents thinking of purchasing this bat for your little guy or girl... buy a batting helmet. Jackson took a big swing (going for a homer, no doubt) and the momentum of his swing plus the weight of the bat caused it to swing around and hit him on the back of the head. I expected him to cry and run to me for comfort, but he smiled, held out his hand and said, "It's ok Mommie, I'm wearing a helmet. Remember?" I highly recommend the Easton Junior batting and helmet.I also highly recommend the MacGregor #56 official T-balls. I bought them in a box of a dozen, but you can buy them as singles as well. This bat was a great purchase, and provides a family activity that we can all enjoy in the great outdoors!Update 7/1/2015:My son just finished his first baseball season. By no stretch of the imagination did he "baby" this bat. It's survived rain and two dogs when it was accidentally left in the backyard overnight. It still looks and works great.

FANTASTIC BAT
Son's bat of Choice! This was my 5 year old first Coach pitch League, and I noticed that many of the kids were using the oversized bats, for for the larger Sweet Spot. I am not a fan of those bats since it doesn't allow a young player a feel of what a good hit is and what a bad hit is.I chose this bat for him based on the weight. And his speed of his swing was drastically increase compared to the heavier bats other players were using. The bat has an excelent feel and sound. So far no dents or major issues with it for this season. We are please with the quality and he got his first double of the season the first time using the bat.Not 5 stars only because the bat did have 2 small fine scratches and the sticker plaque on on the base of the bat that displays the size was very much off off center. Other than that the bat looks and performs excellently.

Solid Bat
I purchased this bat for my son because he started little league, machine-pitch baseball this summer. It's an excellent bat. It holds up really well and is great bat for a kid who is in the six to eight age range and is transitioning from tee ball.

Great bat for 5-7yrs old.
We have had this bat now for almost a year. It gets a ton of use. We hit balls 2-3 days a week and 100+ balls a session. My son was around 42 inches in height and it is a little big for him. He's now around 44" and it fits a lot better. I can see him swinging this for at least another year, maybe longer. The bat has a solid feel to it. It makes a good sound when hit square The barrel is a good length for him to develop eye hand coordination. Some youth bats have a longer barrel (down towards the handle) and this doesn't help them in learning where to make contact. Great beginner bat.

Best for beginners.
This baseball bat is a very decent size baseball bat for beginners. this bat is just the right size and weight for any beginner. it's very strong and durable. its also good at resisting most scratches so you dont have to worry about the paint chipping, scratching, or fading away any time soon. all baseball bat information is written on the barral of the bat and it has a very nice rubber grip on the handle to ensure you got a good grip on the bat.

Best Little League Bat for the Money!
Picked this up for $19.99 for my son who is playing Babe Ruth Little League. Everyone on the team loved the bat so much four other kids batted with it (which, as it turns out voids the warranty, but it's a bat--what's to go wrong).

Three Stars
It was smaller than it looks and we couldn't return it as it was opened.

Pretty darn good bat
Pretty darn good bat. My daughter typically hits the ball 4 out of her 6 times in C league (6 years old). Initially, she simply made contact, but, more recently, she has been pounding the ball pretty well, knocking it nearly out of the infield (on an A league field) in the air.
