I cloned the 970 EVO Plus From my Samsung 1TB 860 EVO
Using the Samsung Magician downloaded software, I was getting 3,520MBps Read and 3,322MBps Write speeds.Installing the drive was very simple. You WILL need an M.2 NVMe screw, which should have been supplied with the newer motherboards, which have M.2 NVMe slots. The 970 EVO Plus did NOT supply a screw. My over all computing experience seems more responsive, as compared to the 860 EVO with advertised Max. 550MBps Read, and 520MBps Write speeds. I do not know how easy the installation would be, with a fresh install of Windows 10 or another operating system.

It works great. Boots faster than my old solid state 860 SSD pro.
I thought my last solid state hard drive had died. Turned out the software was just corrupt, so my computer would not boot. I had an M.2 slot, and thought I'd give it a try. Once I figured out how to install windows on the thing(and boy, was that a pain), and make it properly boot, it worked like a charm. No issues at all. Runs fast and stable.I've had it for months, without a single issue.

WARNING - Not for MacBook Pro Retrofits
I purchased this for a 2015 MacBook Pro. I have been unable to find an adapter that supports the 970 EVO PLUS specifically. Most adapters I have run into explicitly do not support the PLUS models or just don't work. I don't know if this is a software issue on the drive or the adapters, but avoid the PLUS models for MacBook upgrades and stick with the older versions.
