CruzTools is Cool
This set is awesome! Everything I need in this set for a quick adjustment when needed and its compact enough to just fold in half and stuffed in my SKB case. I can now be flexible with my Jazz Bass. I can adjust the action higher if I feel like it or feel the frets when I want to. This set is highly recommended for all bass players and electric guitar players.

Everything you need
If you have a neck through bass get this because you will be adjusting the neck and setting the action of your bass more than what you think. Very good quality tools

Must have!!!!
I always wondered what tools I could buy and how to do the basic setup for a bass. Is obvious that buying this product won't make you a professional tech.(it's not like you will get what you need to build or customize your own bass), but could help you save money on the long run. Every three months I used to pay some tech. to check on my Fender Jazz and sometimes I payed more for an adjustment that I didn't know how to do it, but inside of me I knew it was a simple thing. When I saw this kit, read the instructions and watch the videos from Cruz Tools on bassplayer.com. I learned quick, it was very easy. When I did the first setup on my bass I realized that I did a better job than the tech. that always took care of my bass.(I'm not kidding) I finally got the action on my strings that I always asked for but the tech couldn't do, he tryed to, but always ended leaving some buzzing and I had to go back and ask him to fix it. I recomend this product, it has the basic tools for anyone to cover the basic setup, it also brings a small booklet that explains how to. It took me like an hour. Now I don't have to go crazy if I change the strings and my bass doesn't sound like it used to, now I know how to fix that and more, the best part is that I don't have to pay for it.

A great starter kit.
It may not be the most complete or best of the best tools, but it does the job. If you are not a professional guitar/bass tech, I suggest you buy this set up (Guitarist has its own cruztools also). It can do a fine set-up everytime you change your strings. Well most of the time anyway. Most can not afford a tech everytime we change strings. But "CruzTools" can keep it in good working condition until you feel it is time for a professional.

I saved a ton of money by switching to doing my own setups.
If you're a bass player, stop dropping $60 every few months to get your instrument set up properly. I'm a professional musician and I did that too long. A friend of mine walked me through the setup process, but that wasn't even necessary, as CruzTools has a series of videos on YouTube showing you how to set up your instrument. All the measurements are printed in fine print on the ruler, as well. I've been saving money, taught myself a valuable skill, and now I know if my bass ever gets thrown out of wack during shipment on tour, I don't have to worry about taking it anywhere, I can take care of it myself - which I've had to do a few times. It's been SUCH a relief. Get rid of fret noise, uneven string action, improper intonation ("why does my bass sound so sharp the higher up on the fretboard I go?!"), and improper neck relief. Invest in yourself and keep your gear in shape.

Great resource for the working bassist
Love the compact nature of the container. Fits nicely into my Gruv Gear backpack. Tools are of good quality, so I can see me using them for many years to come.

Buy a GOOD screwdriver beforehand!
It's a great concept! The construction of some of the tools leaves a great deal to be desired. The spring continually pops out of the wire cutters, but they do cut well. The screwdriver is absolutely unexcusable! The reversible shaft comes out of the handle without warning and never stays put! I replaced it with a quality screwdriver. The feeler gauges and the steel ruler are pretty good. They come in handy when setting up my basses and eliminate the guess work for me. The Allen keys really come in handy as well. I'm amazed I was able to make use of the capo during setup even on my 5-strings basses, but it works. Overall, I like it, I use it a lot, but that screwdriver has got to go!

Reasonable
Everything I needed was in this pack bar some digital calipers. Handy spare string compartment too.I thought the price was a little high though.

If you're as fussy as I am and like to change things and try new setups
Exactly what you need to learn how and begin setting up your bass. If you're as fussy as I am and like to change things and try new setups, this is the kit to buy.
