Updated!
Tried this ssd and once windows 7 was installed, all seemed well. However, after about a week the system became unstable and required a few tries to boot successfully. I also noticed that yes, boot times as well as program launches were much quicker that my cpu usage was actually higher running HDSDR, HRD,OBS and browser. Significantly higher actually. I just plugged the old seagate sata drive back in and it confirms my suspicion. I'm not impressed. Maybe as a storage only device it may be ok. I would not recommend this drive.Update, I reinstalled the drive with AHCI enabled in the bios and reinstalled the os and all seems to be working well. I still notice overall cpu usage is lower with this drive but individual app's are using higher resources. I'm going to order another one, load the programs on the new drive and run the os only on the primary and see how it goes. Overall, seems to be doing what it's supposed to. It's stable and working well.

As expected
It's a small, cheap 2.5" SSD. Got exactly what I expected for what I paid. It works, and if all you're after is a cheap OS drive that's faster than a spinning disk, it's just what you're looking for.

Probably best for storage and not as your main 0 S Dr.
These are OK drives but life expectancy is not very good. I installed one as Main 0 S Dr. and it only lived about 13 months. For me the Kingston drives are the way to go.

Awesome drive for the 30.00 sale price. I bought two! not the fastest but my MBP 13" boots in 11 seconds and apps fly open.
Not a well known brand but it's been SUPER great for the 30.00 I spen on a 128GB drive on sale and it boots my MacBook Pro 2013 model 13" in like 11 seconds from power off so I can't complain and I bought another previous about 6 months ago for a little more off sale and its's still perfect.

Snappy and inexpensive SSD
Snappy little drive, quicker access than the Samsung. No software to speak of for optimizing it, but can't beat the price. This is the baseline unit with the Reactor model being the favorite of gaming enthusiasts. Currently using it for ESXI VMware host OS drive without any fuss.

Big drive
Big, but don't transfer more than 150GB at a time.

They perform great, were very inexpensive and have a good warranty ...
I installed two of these in an older Ubuntu system as a RAID 1 (mirror) setup. They perform great, were very inexpensive and have a good warranty with a well-known company behind them. Very happy with the purchase.

Great game storage...
Very easy to install and set up. Using this as a secondary drive for games. Perfect for the price/capacity.
