My 7 year old wanted sleeves for softball and I went back and forth on getting more expensive (big brand name) ones but decided that she’s too little to get something that she’ll outgrow. These are great! I wouldn’t say they’re great compression, but honestly she just wanted it for looks anyway. We got the youth small and it fits well, tight at her upper arm and there’s a grippy strip of material to keep it in place. The material is like a pair of nylon leggings, the silky stretchy kind. Going to go back and order another color so she can wear one of each.

I followed the measurements and ordered accordingly. The band fits snug around my child's upper arm, but the sleeve fabric is loose. So unfortunately no compression happening. With the way the band fits there's no way sizing down will work. It is also very long. On an average height 9 year old it goes from armpit to wrist.I wouldn't recommend this if you need compression. It would work for a cover up or fun accessory. It is made well, the fabric has a cool slick feel to it. The band doesn't slide down the arm.

The media could not be loaded. Arm sleeve is very easy to put on, doesn’t slip or move, can fit many different arm circumferences (she lets her friends use it too). Bought three pairs. Also protects her arms and elbows from cuts and scrapes when diving on the floor for the ball.
