Low, clean and set back! Get it!
To start, the seat is HARD AS HECK when you first get it BUT once its broken in, it is quiet comfortable. It took about 4-6k miles and four monsoon storms of heavy rain/humidity to break it in. Im 6ft 280 lbs and this seat has me sittin low to the ground about 3 inches compared to my Mustang seat and back 3 inches from the stock (2 inches from stang) position. I love it!The biggest issue has been that you tend to slide back almost off the seat when youre takin off quickly. Unfortunately the leather is not perforated, so in summer heat this baby gets hot. In AZ i tend to leave a microfiber towel covering it. Ive had it 2 years now and still looks brand new. Wish they'd make a 2 up addon to this seat. For now i use an aftermarket from another brand so that my daughter can ride with me.

2016 Street Glide Special perfect seat
This seat is three things, it’s low, back, and leather. Honestly, I didn’t want a puffy vinyl seat, and this comfortable, and very high quality. The pillion is also leather, and very well made. I have Corbin’s on other bikes and they’re great, but for a HD FLHXS s2016 Street Glide it’s a great fit, has great lines, and did I mention not a puffy vinyl seat. Felt bottom, nice hardware, great fit, and the shape of the pillion is awesome because it’s mid size but perfect shape with a low backrest for two up riding. Do it....no regrets whatsoever. I’m in and not on the bike now.

Kind of disappointed
Seat has the look I wanted. Unfortunately the slot in the front of the seat is not centered so the entire seat is off center in the front. It drives me nuts. It's like sitting on a brick. I know it's a low profile seat so it has minimal padding but I think this seat has almost no padding. You have to put an enormous amount of downward pressure on seat to get the front slot to line up. Then it is so hard to slide the seat forward to match up the rear mount I had to have a friend come over and hold the brake on the bike. I know, I know, just put it in gear right? I did and I actually slide the bike a few inches using every bit of my substantial weight trying to slide the seat forward. Finally got it on, looks good but now I have to take it back off to install my fender panel....sigh...

No good on long ride
I loved the way it looked on the bike, 2018 Streetglide Special, took a trip around town, it was great. I did a couple of hundred mile day, and boy oh boy, everytime I'd punch it, I would slide right off the back of the seat, I had to keep pulling myself back onto the seat. My shoulders were killing me come the end of the day. Bummed me out, I really liked the look of the bike with it on.

Great Seat
Absolutely a great seat changes the entire look of the bike. So far the farthest I have riden on this seat is just over 300 miles in one sitting. It's a little stiff but still very comfortable. It ended up putting me an inch and a half lower an about 2 inches back so now I am completely stretch out when I ride. I am 5'8" and running 15 inch apes on my street glide and my hands are now right at shoulder height. The install took less than 10 minutes. Every thing lines up perfectly. This is the second Danny Gray I have purchased over the years and if I ever need another seat it will be another Danny Gray.

Great Seat, but bracket modification is required for installation, otherwise 5 Stars
Great Seat, but bracket modification is required for installation, otherwise 5 Stars. Installed on a 2015 HD Road King.Excellent quality. The seat is firm, yet very comfortable. I love how the seat covering is "grippy", it gives you a solid, locked-in feeling. So far I have several 100+ mile rides with this seat and I love it. Originally I replaced the factory 2-up seat with the Danny Gray Buttcrack Big Seat solo. That is also a nice seat but it raised me up and brought me forward, I wanted to be lower and further back. The buttcrack solo definitely solved that.Seat Bracket modification - the bracket that comes with the seat secures too close to the seat making it impossible to install the nuts onto the mounting bolts in the fender. Cheap fix - purchased some 1/4 inch stock thread, 1 inch barrel nut and some dense 1 inch thick rubber blocks. The goal is to provide space to install the seat mount nuts. Problem solved without compromising seat height. I can provide details if interested. It's easy.

Perfect Solo seat for a cool look in town.
This seat is for bar hopping, short rides, and for that its great. I do a mountain loop on this from time to time, about 2.5-3 hours of hard fast riding, but that would be the max I would do on it. If you want a cool solo seat to set you back and lower a few inches this is the seat for you. As long as you don't cushion.
