The Complete Encyclopedia of Magic: The Gathering: The Biggest, Most Comprehensive Book About Magic: The Gathering Ever Published Paperback – October 23, 2002

This is a compilation of earlier Magic: The Gathering encyclopedias. It contains full color images of every card up to and including 7th edition and the Invasion block sets. As other reviewers have pointed out, no attempt was made to edit the separate earlier encylcopedias into a single consistent presentation, and there are some glitches here and there. For some of the earlier sets, the card images don't have very good contrast, making the text a little hard to read.Still, I am delighted to have this book. I already had the card encyclopedias from all the more recent sets that come with the fat packs, and with this book I now have a complete reference for all the cards in the game. Yes, the information is all available through the online data base on the Magic website, but I am the sort of person who likes to just sit down with a book and browse to get ideas.

I ordered this book early one evening, and it promptly shipped out the next day, arriving in time for Christmas, which was one week away. I appreciated the prompt fulfillment. The book was in the condition stated in the offer.

It's was an ok book when I bought it, now many series have come out and it will not be hlpfull, unless you bought all the fat packs from the series that cam out after this book...

Only goes up to the Apocalypse series, but still is a good look at the history and story of MTG.

great book if your a fan of the card collecting game...MAGIC. this book has truly the best times of when magic had an interesting storyline. Still, its a good purchase.

Great for collectors. It is a compilation of all other editions released in 6 volumes. If you're a Magic fan, you must have this book.

It took me a while to find this book, I know nothing about it, but I am sure my grandson will get hours of enjoyment out of it.

Livre très intéressant pour un collectionneur. On retrouve toutes les cartes en photos (12 photos par page, environ 700 pages) avec des indications et une présentation de chaque extension dont les cartes les plus fortes.
