The staples themselves are thick and 7” x 2”, and you get 100 of them weighing for total of 3.5 pounds. The ends have sharp points to them to get into the ground. If you have a project that uses these, especially with the landscape fabric you will find out how quickly you go through these. Not putting enough down will result in lost time trying to repair and the hassle of fixing issues. I am not sure what else you could ask for in this pack. I highly recommend these staples, especially for the price.

This product worked great for the reason why I purchased it! I have a garden in Michigan, animals golour! I used these stakes to keep the chicken wire surrounding my garden tite to ground! Not a single animal has made it under! Knock on wood!

June 24, 2019 Update on this review- since I wrote the last review the company reached out to me and asked how I liked the staples. I told them that I was disappointed and the reasons why. I did not ask for a refund but they gave me one anyway without returning the product. I must give them kudos for being proactive and honorable.Yes, the product is sturdy and it seems to be a good value but- if you intend to use these lawn staples in an veritable garden to hold done tomato cages or floating row cover I would not recommend these.1. They are covered with a petroleum product that makes your hands black and will leach into the garden soil. 2. These staples started rusting within days. 3. After I pulled them out 6 week later they were so rusty I worried about any rust getting into an open cut on my hands if I sustained one. That could lead to tetnus.4. Tetanus is different from other vaccine-preventable diseases because it does not spread from person to person. The bacteria are usually found in soil, dust, and manure and enter the body through breaks in the skin — usually cuts or puncture wounds caused by contaminated objects.Use your own sense, but I will dispose of them today.
