I bought these to replace a set that were nearly identical. My original set had sockets that stopped working - the sockets were made of cheap metal. I was happy to see the sockets in these fixtures were actually ceramic. Probably not going to get years and years of use out of these, but for the money, they were just great!

The unit is adequate to meet the needs I had for it. It is very light and pretty flimsy.They are serious about what the maximum wattage is for this as the wiring will likely not take any more draw safely. There is no internal fiberglass insulation in this to prevent rattling or take the heat from high wattage bulbs. It is a fine unit to put up in a low cost house or a rental unit BUT I would not install it in a nice home as it would look cheap.It is fairly easy to install - be aware that the sleeves around the base of the individual lights hold the front plate of the unit against the wall after you've bolted down the back plate. Also not that it isn't very wide - if you are placing over an opening in a pre-WW2 era house it might NOT cover the opening in the wall completely. .

Neither of both received items had globes, just the metal plate with wires. If this is supposed to be so, they should have mentioned it in the description.
