I made a set of custom grab handles out of paracord for my Jeep Jk. These shackles are the perfect item to attach them. They are nice and small but durable and perfectly match the shackles on the front and rear bumper of my Jeep. It's the perfect accent for a off roading Jeep owner. They make it look rugged and are actually functional if I would ever need to use the paracord in an emergency

The shackles will be used when installing tire chains.

Too big for my intended use: having a capable clasp for a paracord bracelet. Love their specs/load rating, but too much for my use.

I am using these for my 17 foot sailboat and they are working quite well

just the size I wanted for attaching chain to the end of a tie-down strap. works nicely.

These are big enough to use easily but small enough to fit in the small tie down or clip loops on my Hobie PA kayak. I use them to easily remove para chord tie downs that keep my fishing poles and fish bag secured to the boat. Haven't shoed any rust yet and have been used on at least 5 trips.
