Great while it stays on
It was very effective while still adhering to the skin. Kept the toe immobile and was comfortable to wear. Unfortunately, the adhesive wasn’t strong enough to keep it in place without rolling back for more than half an hour. Ok if you don’t move.

It actually sticks to you!!!
Absolutely useful, it sticks well. I’ve never had an item that has to stick to my skin other than hypafix stick to my skin as well as this one did. 100% recommend.

Mixed bag here
I like the idea here and sometimes I could get them to work. They are very thick which is great, a lot like athletic tape but several times thicker. For me, I had a hard time getting them to stick, I even went so far as to use some K-tape around the arch of my foot to hold these down and they still often lost their grip. If I was just walking around I could see them holding up but I was trying to do crossfit workout and they would always pop loose around the arch of my foot, and when this happens they stop being effective. It also does take some getting used to get them on in the right position. You almost want to barely pull your big toe down, then apply it to the foot. You want to try and limit how much the big toe moves upward to help with the turf toe. First one I used, I put on wrong, and ended up throwing it away. Then I had another one that had no adhesive on it, not a big deal but I had to throw out two of ten, not ideal. I would say about half the time these worked, and overall my toes does feel better. Not sure if it is because I used these are started wearing a stiffer show when working out, likely the combination of the two.

Adhesive is too weak *and* messy
I wore one of these for two hours of low-intermediate pickleball - far from the most strenuous kind of activity. At first I was worried that I'd put it on too tight, but when I was done I found I need not have worried. Because of the weak adhesive and the stretchy material, there was no tightness to be found - it was basically just sitting slack against my foot and around my toe. That also means no support, so they weren't actually doing me any good at all. As if adding insult to potential injury, it left a *ton* of sticky gum on my skin, requiring a good scrub with soap and water to get it off.My suggestion is to use good old kinesiology tape instead, at least if your toe is big enough to wrap around without folds or wrinkles. Stick with the name brands; I've had even worse problems with the adhesive on the cheaper stuff that's often promoted here. The only downside is the outside of the tape is a bit rough, so for strenuous activity such as running or tennis you might want to add a band-aid or mole-skin on the *second* toe to avoid blistering there. It's a bit more work, but the results are *much* better than this stuff and for lower cost too.

First solution that worked for me
Simple to use, effective tape to keep your toe joint from moving while not completely locking down or causing discomfort. Easy to apply and wear with shoes. Comfortable for all day wear. I'm optimistic this will help for a long standing turf toe injury while allowing me to still be active and recover.

Had trouble with adhesion
Out of the 10 or so patches, I probably got 5 that stuck. There's definitely an art to getting them on but the adhesive could probably be stronger When it does work, it works pretty well for walking around in shoes but probably won't hold up for athletics. I was hoping to use this during jiu jitsu but it didn't work at all.

Finally....relief!
I fell over in a hole in our lawn on Mother's Day 2019 and injured the joint capsule of my big toe. Seven months later I was still having a lot of discomfort in the toe joint and the ortho doc had pretty much said to rest, ice, and watch and see what happened. I searched Amazon for some sort of splint, brace, anything to help me support the toe and help it heal. I found this product and figured the price was cheap enough to give it a try. The splints were so easy to use, it stayed attached to my foot, and gave me the relief I was looking for. 2 months since my first use and I'm happy to report that the pain is gone and only flares up occasionally! I definitely recommend this product.
