Not a fan of these. The bristles shed too often into my projects and I constantly have to pick them out. At first I thought it was just an intial use kind of thing, but it's getting worse. Sadly, would not buy again, there are others that have worked way better.

I ended up throwing these in the trash. I used one brush, and the bristle shed was HORRIBLE. And I don't just mean a few bristles here and there, I mean many, many bristles with every swipe. It was crazy. I thought maybe it'd get better with usage, but I couldn't even make it that long because I was getting annoyed that I had to waste so much time picking bristles out of my paint job.I don't hassle with returning most of the things I order online because as a single mom, the cost in energy and sanity in hauling my active 6 yr old to whichever shipping store, is WAY more than whatever I paid for the item. Despite the fact that that is obviously a choice I make, it still leaves me a little bitter to have wasted $20 that I could have designated toward a more quality brush. I can't really account to how well they spread paint, because all I remember was the annoying amount of bristles smeared all over my project.I still refuse to spend $30 on ONE chalk paint brush, though, so hopefully I can find a company that's figured out how to make these without such a high cost to the consumer, and with minimal bristle shedding. Might be better off buying cosmetic brushes at this point!

Very poor quality. The brush head came off the handle on the first use. Don’t buy these brushes. Your better off paying more for better quality! Thumbs down for sure!

I used these brushes to paint a dresser. I was very pleased. Very few loose bristles. I dampened the brush before using with the Heritage all in one paint and it left a flawless finish! Great quality for the price. Handle was a little awkward to use but not terrible!

brushes served the purchase and was a great value for the price. The bristles do have a tendency to come which is frustrating when painting. But I was doing destressed painting so it served the purpose. Would not use if I was doing a piece that I wanted a cleaner look, would prob find a different brush.

Five stars if you like picking bristles out of your wet paint. I used this with chalk paint on wood and it shed a bristle every few strokes. Dozens and dozens for the project. It was terrible. If you’re bent on using natural bristles, pay the extra money for high quality ones.

These brushes don’t just shed, the bristles come out in actual clumps!The only good thing I can say about these brushes is the different sizes for smaller projects.Please, don’t waste your money.

My only concerns was that I had to keep picking bristles out of the paint because they would come out as I was painting. It provided great coverage with the chalk paint.

4 x Round paint brushes - £12.99These brushes arrived the very next day thanks to Prime and they seem pretty good for £12.99.They range in size from 20mm to 50mm round and I purchased them to use for Chalk Paint and wax. I’ve used a couple of the smaller ones so far, and yes they did shed some hair - which is a pain because I’d tried to get all the loose ones out beforehand, and it is a little annoying when the bristles get stuck in the paint!Overall I will still recommend these brushes because the very few loose bristles that do shed pales into insignificance when you realise that they were only £3 each brush!

These brushes are not fit for purpose. Very thin, not suitable for painting furniture. Bristles split apart when paint applied. Would never recommend these brushes. I used two, trying to get a good finish. Had to give up and binned all four. Complete waste of £12.99!

I used these for painting a butler’s table with Annie Sloan chalk paint. They did the job but I have to say that some bristles did come off from time to time and I had to pick them out which was a bit annoying.However I guess you do get what you pay for and at least you get a full set of different sizes.

These shed terribly and are only any good on first use then they only fit for the bin. False economy, not fit for purpose. You get what you pay for. Only good point are the handles.

Good variety of sizes of brush, easy to use and paint with and quite timeless to clean. Initially seemed robust and well made, however, I found some tacks holding them together started falling out after a few hours use, leaving them a little wobbly.
